I just needed to say how much I love this programme, its such an incentive, when Im a bit down or feeling like stuffing my face I play one of the programmes I have recorded, and just the thought of Jillian on my shoulder makes me reconsider reaching for anything other than healthy foods!!

Anyone else love this programme??????????????

Absolutely:p

I've seen 2 different series, one with 3 teams and a blonde trainer and recently one where a girl in a pink shirt won.

I'd love a Bob in my life

I'm totally hooked! I've just finished watching ep 15 of US series 7 and, as you say Tizzie it is such an incentive and absolutely inspirational! Ill be gutted when this series is over! Just waiting now for the British version to start on ITV, should by anytime soon hopefully! Actually, does anyone know when it's starting?

yeah me too :) I can't find a series on at the moment I haven't seen though. :)
I tried online and ended up with a virus!! lol will have to wait patiently. :)

I love Gillian she's great!! Reminds me of Sarah Connor (the character) in Terminator! lol

I think sky 2 are working there way through them all on weekdays at 12noon!!!

Just thought it was worth a mention here that the British version of the Biggest Loser starts on ITV this coming Monday (27th) 4pm and is on every weekday for an hour by the looks of it! woohoo! :D

I've been hooked on it for a few years. I am so looking forward to the new series of the british one, I already have my V+ set to record them all!

I love this programme. i just finished watching series 6 from the states and i must say it was the worst series. lots of unnecessary behaviour that wasn't far off bullying. right person won in the end but it removed the focus off the weight loss and on to arguing and game playing and backstabbing which didn't help the show at all. here's hoping the uk one doesn't go the same way.

funny isn't it how popular it is in the states but over here we haven't got very interested in it. itv at 4pm isn't exactly prime time. thanks for saying when its on though, i'll set the sky plus box.

It used to be Wednesday nights at 8pm about 2 years ago. I loved coming back from WI, having my tea and watching TBL

Can someone please explain to me how these people can train 4/5hrs a day, 7 days a week?

Is it because they have so much to lsoe? Is it because they're under medical supervision?

My trainer at the gym would have a fit if I told him I was going to do that. Right from the start he's told me I need to rest and not overdo things by going 7 days a week.

I don't understand. x

They are under supervision and they have to have a medical before they start. Your body can actually go a lot further than you think, it's the mind that stops it. We get reminded of that at our gradings when we are flagging!

Maybe I'll give it a go next week then, see if it makes a huge difference. Obviously not 4hrs a day but maybe a 30min run in the morning every day & a longer session at the gym every night.
