Really disheartened!!!

I've been doing SW on and off for a few months but my willpower is rubbish, so I joined a class last week.

It was my weigh in tonight and I only lost 1lb

My consultant told me to not do as many extra easy days and maybe choose more red and green days.

I had a kebab and a twirl on sat which I included in my syns for the week but she said it was ok to do that

It feels crap!!!

She's right about the EE! It's quite well-reported by people that do it that their losses aren't as great. Some do have good ones but generally, that's the trend. Stick with original and green for a week and see how you do....Can't hurt to experiment.

And by the way...1lb off is great!!!! I always only lose 1lb. Rarely 1.5 and never 2! As I've been told when I get upset, that's 3 stone a year!

Hello! Do you know me? If you don't, you should. I'm a pound of fat.
And I am the happiest pound of fat that you would ever want to meet.

Want to know why? It's because no one ever wants to lose me; I'm ONLY ONE POUND, just a pound!

Everyone wants to lose three pounds, five pounds, or fifteen pounds, but never only one.

So I just stick around and happily keep you fat. Then I add to myself, ever so slyly,
so that you never seem to notice it.
That is until I've grown to ten, twenty, thirty or even more pounds in weight.

Yes, it's fun being ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT, left to do as I please.

So, when you weigh in, keep right on saying, "Oh, I only lost one pound."
(As if that were such a terrible thing)
For you see, if you do this, you'll encourage others to keep me around
because they'll think I'm not worth losing.

And, I love being around you – your arms, your legs, your chin, your hips and every part of you.

Happy Days!!!
After all, I'm ONLY ONE POUND OF FAT!!!

thought this might inspire you

Thank you, both of you.
I do feel a bit better.

At the end of the day I need to keep telling myself that I have lost weight.
That is certainly alot better than gaining!

I'm only losing half a pound a week lately but I'm not complaining. My problem is lack of exercise, I have a painful arthritic foot so even walking hurts. I'm having an operation later this year and I'm hoping once that's healed I'll be able to do a lot more. Do you have much to lose? It's often slower if you only have a stone or so to lose. Also, weight loss varies week to week so you may have a better loss next week. Good luck!

Hello :wavey:

Well done on losing a lb... that's a great loss.

I have had to swap from EE to green and red days as on my first WI I didn't lose a single thing. I felt really upset about the whole thing, I worked very hard at it and to see nothing from the scales. I came on here and all the wonderful people on here gave me great advice and lots of encouragement.... so I am swapping from Green to Red each day. (I like red days... not so keen on Green at the moment - that may change soon though ;))

Carry on with your chin up chick xx
