Red/Original Day - Rice?

Hello,

I am currently cooking a chilli-con carne and I was wondering if someone can someone tell me if I can use rice as HexB on a red day? Doesn't seem to be listed in the book.

If so how much raw can I use and does it have to be brown rice etc... as I only have normal rice in the cupboard.

Thanks

I don't think rice can be used as a hex. Someone may correct me if i'm wrong but i think there isn't enough fibre in it to be a hex :(

hi no i agree dont think you can

How about wholemeal pasta? That's what I will be using tomorrow x

decided to do spicy bbq seasoned chips in the Acti-fry with lashings of chilli on top. Was very nice but I can't move now as I have over indulged. :D

A sloppy joe is an American dish of ground beef, onions, sweetened tomato sauce or ketchup and other seasonings, served on a hamburger bun.[1] Commercially made sauces such as Manwich are also available. Textured vegetable protein may be used as a vegetarian substitute for the meat. Sloppy joes are simpler variant of barbecue sandwich which uses shredded beef or pork and barbecue sauce.
The name "sloppy" comes from the fact that eating it as if it were a normal sandwich often results in the meat and sauce spilling out. It may also be served "open face", with the bun halves or slices of bread next to each other and the meat on top of each.

Thanks for the 'sloppy joe' explanation, i honestly didn't have a clue what it was and have always wondered. If i was to guess i would have said a hot dog or something lol x
