Feeling sorry for myself

Hi everyone, Just want to ask if anyone ever feels sorry for themselves on this diet? Is it just me?I've been plagued by heartburn, constipation and general aches and pains over the last week, and sometimes i just feel p...d off..Don't worry I have no intention of cheating or giving up,but I do feel a bit crappy at the mo.Any advice anyone?

Whenever I have had a rubbish moment or day, I allow myself to conjure up images of how great i'm going to look in the not too distant future. Imagining all the beautiful clothes I will be able to wear and looking at them online is also a great boost for me. I tend to have an aromatherapy bubble bath if i'm feeling achey.

Hope you feel better!

Thanks Libby. Think I'll hit ebay for some window browsing!!You are doing so well. I see your birthday is the day before mine, I suspect (strongly) its a different year too!!

Brilliant...we get bank holiday birthdays again this year! It is definately theraputic and inspiring to have a look at clothes. I have even been looking at rediculously overpriced designer clothes that I would never buy but just knowing that by the end of the year, if I wanted to I could! I am planning my birthday already. I had a fat miserable 21st so I have taken the bull by the horns and I will have a fantastical thin and sexy 22nd! If you like bubble baths, Imperial Lather do a beautiful calming lavender bubble bath. I don't know about you but I have been worrying about loose skin so I am putting a couple of drops of bio oil in my bath as well. It suggested it on the box!

Will have a wee look for that Libby, sounds good.I've tried bio-oil in the past, but would never have thought of putting it in the bath duh!!!I've heard some people swear by Superdrug's Vitamin E lotion with some bio-oil added for that extra bit of luxury.Maybe worth a try?:D Hopefully at your age the loose skin may be less of a prob.At 43 and with 3 kids behind me think I'm a lost cause !!

I do not believe anyone is a lost cause! I have been amazed at some of the success stories I have read of some people that are 60, have lost 6 stone and look amazing, no real visible loose skin at all! I think im going to keep on with the bio oil in the bath to try and stop any. I'm still trying to convince myself to go swimming. I bought myself a fantastic swim suit that sucks you in left right and centre but my friends are being rubbish! Have started doing the yoga and balance exercises on Wii Fit as I have found myself with no spacial awareness and walking into things! Is so far a great help!

I agree with Lucy - most days were brilliant, but others were totally crappy!

I think I realised though, not to put it down to LL, because before the diet, I felt like this on certain days too! Remember, tomorrow is another day. Be kind to yourself, do something you enjoy and give yourself a hug! Bet tomorrow is so much better!

I totally agree with what the others have said. I have noticed that my moods swing drastically. Definately more good than bad days. In fact the bad days when I think about are usually just bad hours to be honest. Stay focussed hun...your doing something amazing!
