What to do with CD products I no longer need?

Hi,

Well after a long battle to get on track a bad case of a thumping heart and kidney pain made my mind up for me. The CD was amazing to me until Feb...it started me on the right track but my body is telling me it is time to move on.

So I have started Weight watchers, hope to still pop into this forum to see how everyone is going.

Anyway, I had to buy 4 weeks worth of products, I have porridge and cranberry bars (loads of chocolate tetras too but that is another story!) and just wondered what I should do with it all.

The money is not an issue, a lot yes, but I spent it with the intention of using the stuff up. Nothing I can do about that now.

I am sure others have had products left over and I just wanted to know what you did with it? Hate the idea of throwing it out.

Emma

Hi emma,
I am sorry to hear about your health:( but to get down tp 13.8 is such a great achievement you must be proud of it!
I am sure you will find someone who would love to make good use of your cd stuff! do you want to sell them or are you happy to give it away for free??

suki

Yes, your CDC might buy it back, or you could use it with WW.

Please don't sell it to any member on here (or anywhere!). It can only be sold by counsellors and it could be dangerous selling to others.

KD, I really understand where your coming from, BUT............... I have been having major probs with my CD running out of products. I was going to change 2 weeks ago, but suddenly the stock was there.
I have just phoned in advance to order for tomorrow and she`s run out of porridge altogether.
Now, with the bank holidays, I`m stuffed and really really pee`d of.
I`ve had app & cinn porridge every day for nearly seven weeks and am now panicking.

It would be ideal if I could get some from
EmmaLouise, to tide me over til I get another cd sorted.
I`ve left messages for a few other CDs to call me, so I suppose I`ll just have to wait and see if one calls back.

Aww Macy. I really hope you get sorted :(

As for selling them on, it's not 'my' rule. They aren't even allowed to be sold or given away on ebay, and if the packs were traced back to the CDC who originally sold them, they could get into trouble.

I know its not your rule !!! You`re too lovely !!!
How I wish you were my cd !!!!!!
Mine was fine 1st week, 2nd week she forgot our appt !!, from then onwards, even tho I order the same every week, she is always out of stock !!!
I wouldnt mind, but my order is so simple:
7 app & cinn porr
7 toffee bars
7 straw/banana shakes !!
I mean, how easy does it get !!!!!

ack. So frustrating for you, and really not acceptable. Cambridge are really good at sending the stuff to CDCs when they order. There's really no excuse :( Have you tried a firmer approach? Not that you should have to! Any other local CDCs you can go to?

Have you tried a firmer approach? Not that you should have to!

Or, you could say

"It's such a shame you have difficulty getting my order, as I love having you as my CDC and I would hate to have to change. Do you know any other CDCs that would be able to get it in time for me?"

That should do it ;)

Well KD, I`ve taken the plunge and got myself a brand new lovely CDC !!! Everything in stock and I`m seeing her tomorrow !!!!

I'm so pleased Macy!!
