Hi im currently looking into all the vlcd and think this maybe slightly better and cheaper than CD. however we dont have a weldricks in our area the closest is 20 ,miles.

could i do this through my surgery privatly or something simillar. i read that all gps can offer it but thay need to agree to it.

I have tried everything else, slimming clubs, tablets-prescription only, and healthy eating my main problem is not seeing fast results and then i get board and think it doesnt work so i thought i'd opt for vlcd do start me off ive got a massive amount to lose at least 5 stone which to me would be a miracle. ive only ever managed to shift 2 before.

Is weldrick's a local chain? Theres a list of pharmacy's that do LT on their website. I have to travel 15miles to my nearest one- my nearest CD counsellor is 1 1/2hrs drive away!
My GP had never heard of it- but he's not a fan of VLCD anyway- he told me to join WW!! And reluctantly referred me to a dietitian when I proved I knew more about nutrition than he did!! They were next to useless too...but thats another story!

Your GP can prescribe it yes and they can get it delivered to their surgery (i think but dont quote me on that) so you would have your weekly weigh ins done at your docs but it's still the same price as it would be getting it direct from a chemist.

Have a look on the LT website for chemists closest to you :)

I think weldricks is the chain of chemists that promote the diet. however i maybe wrong. i looked on their website but my closest is 20 miles i dont think i would have time to make this trip every week and would get fed up with it.
How much does it cost to do LT is it cheaper than CD.

Thanks nikki

Sorry- I've never heard of them. I came across this diet by accident online and got the name of my nearest pharmacy off the LT website. Try it: www.lipotrim.co.uk
LT is cheaper than CD.

Don't worry about having 5 stones to lose. I'm 2lbs off losing that and it's only week 14 for me. If I can do that I'm pretty sure anyone can. I've still got just over 3 stones to lose and still really motivated on LT. If you are determined to do it you can. Just stick to this 100% and the weight will drop off you. Good luck with whatever you chose to do.

I suppose it depends where you live. I go to the local Assura chemist. I too have 5 stone to lose. But thats ok we can do it!
