Hi ladies, a thread about dry hands got me thinking about LUSH cosmetics! I love their stuff, totally addicted and just wanted to find out if there are any others like me out there. I use LUSH products exclusively, started with one product and they gradually took over my whole bathroom and now I would never ever dream of using any other brand! Love that their products are naturally based and are great for my dry sensitive skin.

Being on CD, I've noticed that I take more baths and do a lot more pampering sessions. Besides giving me the comfort that food used to, its a great way to pass the night when you have the munchies! And the best thing is that not only am I nice and slim now, my skin is positively glowing and flawless (I bet the 3L of water a day helps too :D )

Here's my lush routine;

HAIR

  • Curly wurly or godiva shampoo
  • Colaulin conditioner (sometimes okra from the retro line - I have wild afro hair lol)
  • American cream conditioner (I use this as a leave in conditioner)
  • And I moisturise with plain olive oil from the supermarket lol.

FACE

  • Babyface or ultrabland cleanser
  • Sweet japanese girl or angels on bare skin scrub
  • Queen of hearts facial soap (use a bit of this to refresh my skin in the am, and the oil based cleansers at night)
  • Eau roma water toner
  • Paradise regained moisturiser (am)
  • Celestial moisturiser (pm)
  • BB seaweed mask
  • Toner tabs (love Vit C)

BODY

  • Flying fox shower gel (my beloved!) I also love the olive branch and happy hippy but flying fox is my #1
  • You snap the whip solid body scrub
  • Buffy solid body scrub
  • Ocean salt scrub
  • King of skin in shower body butter
  • Sympathy for the skin cream (OMG holy grail product!!!)
  • Vanilla deelite lotion (great for scent when I don't feel like wearing perfume)
MASSAGE

  • Mange too
  • Fever
  • Wiccy magic muscles
BATHS
I won't name ALL my faves cuz I have a LOT but my absolute fave fave faves are;

  • Amandapondo Bubble bar
  • Creamy candy bubble bar
  • French kiss bubble bar
  • Flosty gritter bubble bar
  • Sunny side bubble bar
  • Ceridwyns cauldron bath melt
  • Mmmmm melting marshmallow moments bath melt
  • Youki hi ballistic
  • Magic ballistic
You've probably noticed that I have multiples of each thing (i.e. body cream etc) but I just love their products so much that I can't help myself!!

So what are your LUSH must haves? Is there anything I'm missing that you feel is absolutely AMAZING? Do tell!

Blimey! You sure do have pretty much most of their range! I'm impressed at your dedication and knowledge! I only have a couple of things from Lush as it's over an hr away for me and they are the snow fairy (i think) shower gel, it's pink and has glitter in it and smells of sweets! Also have the blonde hair solid shampoo bar but not yet used it as not quite sure what to do with it lol.. x

Oooooh, a fellow Lush devotee :D

I absolutely adore the Karma scent and have all the range in that scent.

Especially love the solid shampoos as I go swimming a lot and they are easier to take than a bottle.

Anyone who buys me lush goodies for christmas or birthdays is immediately on my bestest friend list.

Annie x

I have never even heard of Lush, but could do with an overhaul of my pampering range... need some treats for the hard work I'm doing...

Have they a website?

What do you do with the solid shampoo bars then?!?! I'm intrigued, may go dig mine out and use it for the first time! x

I just lather mine in my hands and run through my hair and it lathers a whole lot! Rinse, condition and voila!

You could also rub the bar in your hair but I find that it makes my hair tangle when I do it this way.

oooooooo just had a peek at the website... I feel a treat coming on...
You girls might end up having a lot to answer for :)

i like lush products too but havent bought any for years. just browsed the website..they have totally fabulous easter gifts on there, i have asked hubby to get me one of the chocolate bath egg things!! very CD friendly!:)

oooooo lexie, you devil you!!!!

:)

Seriously... if your 'thing' isn't pampering products.... what is it???

I feel a new thread coming on!!! :)

Yup thats me. I know how to walk on the wild side alright. I splashed out the other days and bought 5, yes 5 bottles of sparkling water.

At 12p a bottle I thought Tesco Value was the way to go.

So like I say, yup. I'm all about the pampering ;)

In all seriousness I like to just hang on in there and scour ebay for cheap clothes in my size. I let me spend between £5-£10 a week on there and its suprising just what you can buy!

Trying to get away from rewarding myself with food

Well I am rubbish at spotting bargains.. but as all my clothes are rubbish anyway so will desperately need some stop gap clothes as I am dropping the wieght, Ebay or charity shop are going to have to work for me :)
As for Luch however, I am off to Cardiff this morning and just happened to notice that there happens to be a shop their so I am going to buy my first weight loss treat (well thats hoping I have lost some weight this week !!!!) :)
