Food shopping recommendations?

I need to do a search really, but I wondered if you experienced RTM'ers would list some of your fave food shopping items.

For example, I've found a sauce which I've bought for next week in Tesco, Spanish sauce I think for cooking with chicken, etc, and it's so low in fat/sugar/carbs etc - not tasted it yet though.

Would love recommendations for fat free dips if anyone's found any, or sauces that I can cook things in next week???

Anything really, which has become a staple and a help to you I'd love to hear about! (And possibly the week you were allowed it might also help!)

By the way, I love Hartley's fat free jelly and I actually just spent £14 on jelly in Tesco!!! I'm insane I think!

I just did an online shop, so easiest to just copy it here. This is a 2 week shop, and its pretty much the same every order.....I'm very consistent it turns out!! LOL

I don;t buy any thing pre-made - sauces, etc., I jst make them from scratch so I know what is in them.

Dips I make from yogurt and spices, lemon or lime juice, but mainly I make huommous, or make mayonaise out of tofu.

Fascinating BL - I take it that some of that is for way at the end? Very interested to know how you make your houmous? Does it taste similar to shop bought or not?? I made it once while on WW from one of their recipes - it was vile!!

There - I have edited my original post and removed items not allowed on RTM.

I mkae my hummous using chick peas, garlic, low or non fat yogurt (or fromage frais) tahini and lots of lemon juice. Its yummy and you don;t miss the olive oil. The yogurt or FF works perfectly as a substitute. :)

Passata is absolutely awesome! I buy the sugar-free, 100% Tomato based one. Add some herbs, add some onion and garlic and man, you have one tasty tomato sauce; for chili (+chili powder), for bolognase, for indian (+Madras powder), or just tomato soup (+some stock water for base) with some veg and meat.
Ahhhh and sooooo much less calorific than store bought jars... Less expensive and I know exactly what's in it!

:D
