Does any one know..

Where I can find low calorie garlic bread or any low calorie ideas of how to make garlic type bread I really fancy some for my tea tonight.

do weight watchers do one? if not then maybe you could just get a french stick and make the garlic paste yourself with garlic and butter (something like flora that has good fats in it) then pop it in the oven? i dont think it would be massively low in cals but if you only had a slice or two and watched ur carbs over the rest of the day i shouldnt think it would be a problem. u know what they say - everything in moderation! :)

yeah i have got some garlic butter form tescos before. however garlic paste means u can control type of butter and calories.

you could try toasting some bread with a lil olive oil and rub with garlic, im sure i have seen jamie oliver [or someone similar] do that

Do a slice of toast making sure it is crisp. Have a clove of garlic peeled and ready and just rub the clove across the bread. It has a grater effect and vanishes into the bread. Then dip a clean flat blade knife into a bottle of oil and lightly smear across. Add black pepper and a bit of fresh finely chopped parsley if you have any. I suppose you could use spray oil which is very low. If your oven is on the go, pop it in for a minute to crisp back up. Yum !

We bought low fat garlic bread from Morrison's today (Be Smart range)- it's 267 cals for half a baguette. With some low fat pasta, tomato based sauce & a salad & half a baguette it's coming in at 600 cals. I feel like I'm having a Sat night treat!
