I am doing cd to tuesday, and then i`m joining sw.Money is tight, and i`m really miserable!Been like this for nearly 2 wks now,and i think i need to make the change.Done sw before, but i`m worried about putting the weight straight on.I will do red days and slowly introduce the carbs,if i don`t change i think i will blow it altogether.Does anyone have any advice,so i don`t ruin things ?...i have only a stone and half to go.

I would stay put on CD if you only have a stone and a half to lose (that's what I've got left to lose too, and wild horses wouldn't stop me now!). I used to go to Slimming World, and it took me six weeks to lose a measly stone (which I then put straight back on again).

Can't you even afford to do CD until the end of the month? That would really crack that extra weight, and then you could go back to eating carefully afterwards. SW costs money too, and I found it really demoralising to go to - I wouldn't bother quite frankly.

If I couldn't afford CD, I think I'd try and do a kind of home-made Atkins/HPD to get the rest of the weight off - why come out of ketosis now? You may as well stay in it for as long as you can, before going back to normal food? Just a thought!:)

I agree with Jaycey-with so little left to go it's not going to take more than 6 weeks or so...even doing it for another month would get most of it off, then you could do Atkins to get the last bit off.I've not done SW for years so have no idea what the plans are like now so no advice there I'm afraid.

Wasn't there a thing in the latest CD magazine about the cost comparisons between CD and the other major weight loss clubs... If i remember correctly CD came out cheaper!
Money is really very tight for me right now, but when I break it down this does work out cheaper.. remember although you will not be paying as much in class fees, you do have to buy food, and especially if you will be doing red, good quality low fat meat can cost a small fortune... Plus... you'll be doing it longer so will work out even more expensive in the long run.
Just playing devils advocate :)
Whatever you choose.. you have done fabulous so good luck on getting the last bit off :)

I am going to try and get to target then do SW to maintain. I keep thinking about jumping ship, but if I can keep loosing atleast 3lb a week Ill stick with CD.
I would find SW cheaper I think as I can include the kids /DH in my SW diet, just add more cheese, sauce, carbs to theirs i need be.
Im sure you will make the right decision hun, good luck. x
