Switching from Cambridge diet?

I am currently on Day 18 of Cambridge diet and have now lost 16.2lb. Although I'm delighted I am still 1st 3.8lb off a healthy bmi of 25.
My husband and I would really like to start trying for a baby in a few weeks so I would like to move to a healthy diet involving food and wondered has anyone else moved from Cambridge diet to another diet like weightwatchers successfully. I'd like to go back on food but obviously don't want to put on all the weight I've lost and would like to keep losing. I know I'll probably put 5-7lb of water back on but just wondering if anyone has any experience of doing this or any advice? :D

Doesn't CD have a food re-introduction phase like other VLCD's? If not, look at the Lipotrim re-feed/maintenence schedule for help?

The best way would be to move up the CD steps, that way you won't put weight on if you follow the steps and will keep losing for a bit longer. Talk to your CDC about moving up the steps. Think its 810, 1000, 1200, then 1500 calories but the book will tell you more about it.

Definately move your way up the cd steps till you are fully reintroduced to food, then after that if you're still wanting to "diet" but also get pregnant then a good choice would be Slimming World as you can continue that through pregnancy in order to maintain your healthy eating habits and minimise weight gain through overindulgance... you can also go straight back to Slimming World after birth :D

Good luck conceiving hun! x
