What is extra easy? They didn't have this plan when I followed slimming world before.

I'm flitting around the different boards trying to suss out what I'm going to do next.

Have lost a stone already. But really need to get cracking!!
 
Extra easy is easy...lol.

Whatever is free on red or green days are ALL free on Extra Easy. That means you can have the pasta with chicken but whereas you would weigh the chicken for example on a green day you don't have to on EE. If it's free on red or green day then it's free to eat as much as you like on EE. The only down side is that you only get 1 A and B box. If you have milk with your cereal and also cheese on a Jacket potato, one of them will have to be syn'd.
I eat EE for the majority of the time and find it really easy and I've never eaten so much.
 
With the A and B choices on EE you can do half and half. I checked with my consultant. For example, you can use half of your skimmed milk allowance and half of your cheese triangles allowance.

I'm find Extra Easy to be exactly that - really easy! It's the only diet that I've ever managed to stick to and not cheat on!! :D
 
Hmm, actually sounds pretty good.

I never got on with slimming world simply because I struggled with limiting either lean meat or carbs!!! So this sounds like it could be the ideal comprimise.

Yep, I do Extra Easy too, it's brilliant!
Proper spag bol, with spag and mince *drool*

Another thing to remember is that on EE - your syn values are different too.
If there are two syn values, eg: free on red or 2 syns on green, then on EE it's free.
You always take the lowest syn value on EE
 
And don't you have to fill 2/3 of your plate with superfree foods? Or is that just on Success Express?

Sorry, I don't actually do EE! But I thought I'd seen that mentioned...
 
Yep, you should have 1/3 superfree food :) A few ppl in my class tried it and didn't get very good results, it was then discovered they hadn't been having enough SF foods.

I'm loving EE. It really fits in well with family life.
 
Actually, in the EE booklet it says 1/3 of your plate...but like all the plans, the more super free/super fast foods you eat, the better.
 
I'm assuming super free foods are the foods that were free on both red and green days when following the original plans, e.g. Fruit and veg?
 
Thank you everyone - all this information is really useful.

Considering how much I disliked slimming world when I've tried it in the past, this Extra Easy plan sounds fantastic.

I hate weighing and counting etc and have no problem leaving food on my plate when full, so won't overeat if I overestimate how much I need. I may well give this is a try.
 
Hi i have done slimming world before a few years ago, my firend has just done extra easy and lost 7 pounds in 2 weeks!!! I just cant understand how eating red and green together make u lose weight??? Im wanting to really give it a go this time really determined but which plan does everyone think gives the best weight loss??? I have only done the original plan before
 
Beth, Just give extra easy a go...you might be surprised.
Also, like red and green days, you can just have an EE day now and then, you don't have to do it for a whole week or anything.
 
I aimed for more than 1/3 of super free foods this week and had my biggest loss. So, it does help to eat them!
 
by superfree foods do u mean superspeed foods or are they something different?! Just getting back into the swing of it so trying to get my head bk round it! x
 
Im thinking of trying EE in a week or so too...gonna find out more about it first though:)
