Hi
I am having a girly night out tonight, and wondered what you think is the best on this menu to choose
pollo romano salad
seasoned chicken strips mixed with cos lettuce, parmesan , crisp pancetta and coated with a parmesan aioli
mediterranean lamb
char-grilled resting on mizuna lettuce, with an array of marinated vegetables, seared asparagus spears finished with a k.i. honey yoghurt

Going to be on a Red Day

Thinking about the chicken, and ask to put the dressing is on the side, but not sure if it is filling enough, or the lamb. Do you think the honey and yoghurt will be alot of syns.

I don't want to do a flexi day, as I only had my first weigh in yesterday (lost 3lbs:)) and want to continue to do well this week.
Also gonna drink a spirit with diet coke, so not too many syns there, hic ;):D

Difficult choice really, the pancetta will have been fried in oil so be heavily laden with syns, you could use the parmesan as an A choice I guess, the lamb sounds nice but the marinated veg could well be done in a syn laden marinade, honey is low in syns but the yogurt I guess won't be a low fat version!

On the face of it I think the chicken is prob your best bet if you ask for the dressing on the side and restrict yourself with the pancetta if you want to be completely angelic!

Hi, I got to the restaurant, and they didn't have either on the menu!!! I was looking at the menu online and it's not the same when you get there. Ridiculous!

Anyway, I did manage to have another chicken salad, which was gorgeous. Can't remember all the ingredients, but it was grilled chicken, loads of lettace, red onion, capsicum with pine nuts and a low fat zesty like dressing with a little touch of yoghurt. It was yummy and seems very healthy, especially as everyone else was tucking into schnitzels laced with loads of sauce and cheese and fries. :D
Did succumb to a few beers though  but then went onto vodka and diet coke :)

All the above, whilst watching the sunset over the sea and it was a lovely warm evening too, just perfect.
