Right, today's the day. Had my first shake this morning(cafe latte) not too bad. How long do people put this in microwave for? I only did it for 1 min on 750w but it was barely warm & would prefer it a bit hotter but was frightened of nuking the nutrients in it. Also, a slight problem for me is that I'm a sales rep so I practically live in my car. Should I take my sachets of shakes & shaker out with me & buy cold water everytime to mix it in the car(which could prove messy) or can I make them up at home & take it already prepared.
Oh & one more thing, I hope I don't get caught short with all the water I need to drink, the last thing I need is to get arrested for reliving myself behind a bush on the motorway:eek:
Have had my 2 ltrs today but convinced I've passed more than double that. Good job I took the day off:D

Hi moonstone,

I find the best way to make the hot shakes is to mix them with boiling water out of the kettle. I sometimes add a spoon of coffee and a couple of sweeteners to jazz it up a bit.

As for being out and about i read in the CS booklet that you can make up your shakes and store them in a flask or sealed beaker to have later on. Also the bars are very handy if you cant make a shake. I like the berry fudge bar and it is quite filling.

Was told by my pharmacist, under no circumstances to use boiling water to make the shakes as it kills off some of the nutrients in them. Also, as I have no blender, it would be dangerous to use the shaker to mix them, apparently, they can explode (this happened to one of the staff in the chemist). Must remember to buy a flask next time i'm out though.

I always have my shakes hot and I use the CS shaker.

I'll give you a joke now. Two week's ago I used boiling water instead of hot. I was in the kitchen, with my hand on the lid shaking it up. For some reason I decided to take my hand off the lid, the pressure inside the shaker must have been so great, that the little spout thing flew open and I had hot banana shake all over my windows, cupboard doors, walls and my clean dishes. I just stood there laughing thinking where to start cleaning first and why couldn't just have gone on the floor.
Even the dog came to investigate what all the noise was about!

Needless to say, I done additional stretching exercises that day! :)

Reminds me of the time I made scrambled eggs for a client at work. Took it out of the microwave and went to stir it, and there was this BANG! and it exploded everywhere, including on the ceiling! Must've been an air bubble caught in there, or someone put TNT in there :)
