Exercise and lipotrim

Hello everyone. On day 5 of LT and now I have a bit of energy was thinking of starting some exercise and was just wondering if anyone has any suggestions or fitness regimes they would like to share? I was thinking of going back to curves and maybe doing a weight training class to really try and tone up whilst on LT. Any advice welcome. Thanks xx:)

Hi,

All I could suggest is take it easy....You'll be surprised how quick the energy is zapped.

Walking and swimming would be good starts..nothing too excessive and a reasonable all over workout (especially swimming). I'm guessing if you do weights, it won't be heavy, so go light and more reps.

Hope that helps....good luck.

Mark

I agree with Mark, take it easy to start with. I was around the 3rd week when I started doing 8 minute toning exercises on youtube, then gradually built it up to 3 mile walks, aerobic classes and 50 sit ups every night. Listen to your body and stop when its had enough. Dont over-do things.

try to avoid cardio workouts - if anything try light toning workouts. nothing too streinious as on LT you might find you dont have a lot of energy.

For some exercise increases their weight loss and for some it can actually reduce it. This week i havnt done any and the previous 2 weeks i did some and this week my weight loss has gone up by 1lb .... coincidence or not i wont be doing exercise again for a while lol maybe swimming but thats it! lol

Good luck though honey :D

i have been into the gym alot in the last 2 years and working out so have kept on doing it while on LT, at first i lost alot of weight but just today i had put on a pound since yesterday and i think its cos im working out so much (running, cycling, rowing etc) that my muscles are getting bigger and making me heavier so im going to lay off it a bit

It's a known fact that muscle is heavier than fat, so I guess it's down to the appearance you want in the end, especially as you are so close to your goal.

Seriously, it is not TRUE!!!!

1lb of muscle is the same weight as 1lb of fat. Its like saying whats heavier - a tonne of bricks or a tonne of feathers?!!! - they are the same.

Just muscle takes up a lot less room in your boy than fat does.

I'll find another thread about exercise - have a read ..........

You are right, it was my bad explanation of what I was trying to say....Of course, a pound of muscle weighs exactly the same as a pound of fat. Fat, however, is slightly less dense than muscle, meaning that a set volume of muscle will weigh slightly more than the same volume of fat.

So what I was trying to say is that, if you've been working out and your shape looks the same, your weight could have increased because what was once fat could be muscle mass, thus increasing your weight, not necessarily your size.

Sorry for the confusion...

Its ok sweetness - i used to think the same untill i read that - how silly hey! lol

Thanks for the advice guys much appreciated. Think I might try and go to curves tommorrow and see how I go. Had first weigh in today (a day early as I had to swap my chicken soups YUK!) and I have lost 7 and a half pound!!! I'm over the moon. Plus I LOVE this site! xxx
