Why why why?

I've kept to plan, noted down my syns (no more than six a day) yet still feel guilty, as if I've eaten loads of "baddies". For example, the other night I had a huge portion of chicken and fennel (lovely, will post recipe soon) for 2syns (it was actually two portions together as I thought it didn't look much when I froze it :sigh:). There was nothing in it but onions, fennel, tinned toms, four chicken thighs and 150ml wine (just under 4syns, so 1 syn per portion). Only the wine was syns so the rest is ok - yeah? Yet I've felt guilty ever since. Changed my breakfasts too as they were getting too similar, and again feel guilty.

Is it:
a) I really am a greedy pig whose eaten too much (as will be seen at WI:sigh:)?
b) SW is now feeling like a way of eating and not a "diet"?
c) Auntie's on her way (as will be seen at WI;))?

Am I the only one who feels this way? We're going out for dinner with my old boss next week and I'm already panicking!

If you've kept to plan then why feel guilty?! You're not eating too much if you're still losing weight, so just enjoy it.

I know what you mean.. I have days where I feel a bit bad about what I've eaten.. but then I recalculate my syns and it turns out I'm done absolutely nothing wrong! lol :)

I feel guilty sometimes but I think it's more to do with my changing attitude towards food. I know it sounds silly but before I just didn't realise that I could lose weight whilst eating like a horse and still enjoy the occasional treat! SW is designed to ballance our diets so we don't need to feel hungry but we eat more of the 'good' stuff than the 'bad' stuff.

If your chicken and fennel was only 2 syns but yummy then why feel guilty?! You should be feeling very, very smug!

Ohhh can you post the recipe soon?!

I know how you feel - all too often I have a plate piled with stuff (example - 2 quorn chicken burgers, syn free chips, baked beans and a fried egg for 5 syns), which is absolutely legit and well within my daily syn allowance, and end up feeling like a fat pig for eating so much.

I think it's really hard to readjust your way of thinking to think of SW as a way of life and not a diet. :(

Ive been having SW chips with cheese (taken as hexa) for supper...I always feel guilty eating them...but Im sure when I weigh in next I will feel smug:D

Totally with you here - i just don't understand how i can eat so much (and while i'm losing i don't want to lol) and still lose weight, and it is all soooooooo yummy. In addition the kids love it, there are never ending amounts of recipes and i'm finding more free food than i can eat!

In week 3 now so vaguely getting used to it and now starting to feel smug, but still feels weird when people see you eating loads and comment. Yesterday someone sarcastically said 'hungry are we' while i munched mini joes' sausages, babybel, grapes and chicken for my lunch and then a muller (it was 10am ha ha) and i just said 'yes actually'

Be smiling on the other side of their faces in a few weeks ;)
