Slightly Frustrated

I hate getting weighed in the evenings, normally I get weighed in the mornings but due to my shifts I had to get weighed in the evening yesterday and even though i'd stuck to SS 100% only lost 1 1/2 lbs which was so frustrating. Weighed myself this morning in exactly the same clothes and my scales say i've lost 4lbs since last week so it just shows the difference the time of day makes! Was really hoping to get to my two stone off mark by next week as I'm going away for the weekend a week tomorow! Got a morning weigh in a day early next week so fingers crossed i'll have a good loss.

Hope everyone is having a good week and enjoying the sun.

My weight is usually about 3 or 4lb different from morning to evening so next week you will probably have a big loss. Your weight loss up to now has been brilliant.

Thanks Lin, I'm really shocked how well i've stuck to it so far. You've had a good loss too, I think the losses and how good i'm feeling from it have kept me going. Fingers cross for next week.

I'm trying to reach my next target of 2 stone loss as well - so good luck.

I have only lost a small amount this week but I'm trying to stay motivated.

I'm sure your weigh in next week will show a good loss! :p

OMG - I never thought of this.. I only lost 1lb this week and I weighed at 6pm - the week before I weight at 10am.. I bet that makes a difference... I think I'd also had all of my meals for the day when I weighed at 6pm - but none when I weighed at 10am...
I'm gonna try and weigh 1st thing in the morning next week...
I'm also trying to break the 2 stone mark - fingers crossed it will happen this week!

Even if you are SSing 100% the time of day makes a big difference. First thing in the morning, you haven't been drinking water all night, and you've likely made a trip to the bathroom to unload all of it. Later in the day, you are carrying around the extra weight of shakes and water that haven't worked their way out yet.

I don't consider my WI weight my weight, it's in the evening and i'm wearing clothes. Where as my true weight is just after I've got up and I have no clothes on... I don't think my CDC will appreciate weighing me in that situation :)

Same here. My CDC weighs me after work at 4pm, wearing clothes and shoes. As soon as she'd weighed me last week I came back home and got on my own scales-minus some of the clothes and the trainers. I weighed myself one morning and then again in the afternoon and there was a difference of about 3lbs! I will always take my official weight as being the one I do first thing in the morning in my pyjamas!

I never worry about my weigh in at CDC - your weight can vary just depending on what clothes you are wearing!

the morning/evening thing really does my head in! If i weigh myself in the evening, even with just a nightie on like I do for my official WI it looks like I've put on 2lbs since my monday WI.. SO discouraging!!! I really have to stop doing it :(
