Fed up and impatient this weekend!

Slimoncemore

Wants to be slim!
Hi my fellow CDers...I'm sorry but I need to have a whinge.

I think I'm doing ok so far - I've lost a reasonable amount every week even though I usually have 4 packs a day however...

This weekend I've felt quite fed up and really impatient to lose more quickly.
My lower stomach looks bigger (probably because it is no longer hidden by my spare tyre which has all but disappeared) and although I look curvier it is not all going evenly.

I have lost 2" from my bust, 4" from my waist, 3" from my hips and 1" from each thigh and upper arm but silly as it sounds I don't like my body shape at the moment!

I don't know if the answer is to start toning up?

Maybe I am just fed up this weekend but that is how I feel...sorry for moaning :(

Hey hunni, sorry you are feeling down at the moment. The weight doesn't always go evenly, I know I lost from the top down and was some very bizarre shapes along the way but it should even itself out with time so hang in there. You're doing brilliantly xxx

I've got funny little dents in the sides of my tummy, they look very strange :)

I'm amazed by the after photos that you see, people look very very skinny - like Porgeous for example, wow, if I could have a figure anything like that I would be so happy.

Exercise will help with toning but I think if you keep on looking at the after photos it will help you to realise that this is a short term body change and with the speed of the diet it won't be too long before your shape changes again.

Hope you are feeling better today. I am finding this diet is making me very moody and while the ups are great, the downs are horrible.

Regards,

Hi, thanks for your kind words.

I seem to slow down my loss over the weekend and I think this is due to the lack of routine I have at work - I only drank 3 glasses of water yesterday!

I think I am just generally fed up at the moment (life still goes on while we diet) but where as before I would have eaten for comfort I did not consider doing that yesterday so something good has happened! :)

Planning to be 100% again this week and going to start counting the glasses of water so I know just how much I am drinking.

Hope you all have a good day today x

I can so relate to how you feel. I've been looking at myself in the mirror every day, and comparing my photos taken at start and 4 weeks later, and I don't see any appreciable difference! The scales are down and my measurements smaller, but I don't see a difference in my appearance, my energy level, or the way my clothes fit.

I'm frustrated, too!
