Hiya, I'm actually doing the W8 rapid plan, but the W8 board is sooooo quiet :sigh: I need more interaction and from reading the threads on this board you guys seem to be great support for each other.

I'm on three weeks of full meal replacements and then my 4th week I add a small meal, but I promise I won't talk about food on here :D

So can I join you guys?

hey hey!!!

Of course you can!! The more the merrier!! And dont worry... We all pretty much still talk about food :)

Alot of us find cooking, watching cookery programes and even sniffing food a great help!!

I am one of those weirdos that enjoy watching people as they eat too!!!

So welcome aboard the forum lou :)

How are you getting on??

Thanks. I'm loving this diet, I can't believe how much weight you can lose so quickly. Up to my last weigh in last Sunday I had lost 16lbs in just 3 weeks. I've never lost more than a stone on any diet before I've given up cos I've lost the will to live. People have started noticing now too, it gives me such a buzz when they congratulate me on how well I've done.

Yup I know exactly how you feel!!!

Thats great that your enjoying it :)

So what are your meal packs like??

They're not bad actually. I have either a vanilla or cafe latte shake for breakfast, either chicken, mushroom or thai soup which I make in to poppadoms for lunch and then spagbol or chicken noodles and a toffee mousse for my tea.

I hate cooking with a passion, so these "just add water" meals are great for me, they're ready instantly so I don't get tempted to pick at stuff inthe fridge.

That is a good plan!! And do they taste like they say they do??

Yeah pretty much. The spagbol and noodles are a bit on the spicy side, but I like that. The vanilla and toffee shakes are my favourite, they're really yum. They do chocolate and strawberry shakes but I hated those, they didn't taste at all like I was hoping they would.

Erm, i think not actually... our board is full.. stick to your own...

Hehe just kiddin hunni, welcome to you!!

how are you finding W8?? always lovely to see a new face, so let us know how you get on
xxxxxxx

every one is welcome here love thats why im allowed lol

hahaha!!!

I was looking at that celeb slim diet the other day and the food looked yummy on it!!!

There seems to be quite a few variations of the VLCD all costing different amounts. I think LT is the cheapest though.

Hey everyone,
My names Emma and I'm on Day 5 of the Lipotrim diet and just thought I'd come on here(not sure how to use the forum correctly)for a bit of support. Well I'm 5'3'' and 11stone so got about 1.5stone to lose, hoping to get into a size 12 for the summer. I'm feeling okay but gotta be honest cant stop thinking about food! But not actually feeling hungry.
Any tips for a newbie???
Thanks, Speak soon Emz.x

:confused:FORGIVE MY COMPLETE IGNORANCE BUT WOT IS THE W8 DIET?? I BET IM GOING TO FEEL STUPID NOW WEN I READ THE ANSWER!

Hi Annie, it's just another VLCD. You have 4 meal replacement packs a day and then depending upon which programme you're on you add a high protein low/carb meal either every 4th week (rapid), just at the weekends (Weekender) or every day (regular). I'm on the rapid as I want to lose as much as poss as quick as I can. You can do it online at www.allaboutw8.co.uk or you can do it with a local counsellor. It costs £49 per week for the 28 shakes.

That sounds quite good, as you're still eating fairly normal meals, but it does sound a bit more expensive than LT. Roughly how much are you supposed to lose on each different program? Must admit, I've never heard of it, but I am quite interested as it does offer a bit of flexibility.

Hi Lou, you will know me from the W8 board...and I am returning to LT (the shakes are better on LT!!)...and yes this board is great...actually i'm wondering if i'm going back to LT because i missed these guys so much LOL!! xx

The loss seemed to be lower for me on W8 compared to what I lost on LT. I also found the add a meal thing disastrous, it took me approx one week to slide back into normal eating :( So I have decided to come back to LT. And also because its online (although you can have a counsellor if there is one in your area), I found the lack of support not good. I needed to be marched into an office and weighed like a naughty schoolgirl each week to keep me motivated lol

Emz - top tip - drink loades and loads of water!

And Hi Lou :) welcome to LT board.
