hello ladies....I have had a little idea.:p..some days I just want to chat to people doing sf..or a diet, or basically anyone who is trying to resist eating, and loose weight...but dont necessarily have a question - or an answer....so wondered if anyone fancied a 'daily chat' thread.:copon:..just so we can all say hi, and chat and get to know each other and offer support...without having a specific need??

Does anyone else think that this is a good idea, and like to take part??

well today I thought I had done really well, very low cal tea, only had my two shakes and appropriate snacks :p...but have just learned that what I thought was a good snack turns out to be really high in calories. Well I can not put into words how gutted I am, this week was gonna be my 'ridiculously good week' and I feel as though I have just undone all my hardwork(even though I know thats not true)....the culprit for these feelings of smugness turning to grrrrness........raisins!! :eek:I have been living under the misguiding idea that raisins, being all natural would be a sensible snack choice, oh how misguided!
grrrrr..so cross now....oh well always tomorrow I guess!

hi claire, oh i've been there too. the other week my oh brought home a cauliflower cheese, checked the calories thought brill, only 282 cals can have all that with 4 quorn sausages and loved it. later i checked packet label and saw it was only for half  so bang went my really good day!

i too was well p****d off after all my good intentions but got straight back on it (even though not intentionally off it) the next day and learnt to read the small print off packets in future :8855:

so don't worry i wouldn't think you'd be mega over but try to be positive about it for the rest of the week x sending you a big hug to cheer you up :gen126:

Hey girls, (and any lurking guys!) count me in.

I had an experience like that a few weeks ago. I LOVE Mac & Cheese. Not as much as I love pizza, but I digress... I had just gotten home from work and found that no dinner was made (we have "Fend" nights in my house... where you fend for yourself... ) and was absolutely starving.. as I usually am when I get home. I was looking around the kitchen for something quick to eat and thought maybe I'd have mac and cheese. I turned the box around real quick to check the calories and lo and behold: I SERVING of mac and cheese has 400 calories.. there are 2.5 servings in a box... and I can eat a whole box.

My beloved mac and cheese for dinner would have cost me 1000 calories! I haven't eaten it since.

I don't want to know how much pizza has... don't want to ruin my pizza high. :8855: We eat it about 3 times a month and I can't resist. Especially white pizza with shrimp. YUM! :)

Light Raven I also love pizza!!!! I have found a way to keep it under the 600 calorie mark. I buy a weight watchers pizza (232 calories for the spicy chicken and 220 calories for ham and pineapple) then I add extra toppings to it (artichoke, mushrooms and extra tomatoe) and if I still have calories left I also make home made garlic toast. My boyfriend then can have his usual pizza and I dont end up sitting there staring at it!.
