Need to loose more weight - help

Just wondering how many of you exercise whilst on SS. I've set myself a high goal for 5 wks and am sticking to the diet perfectly (no cheats at all). But the weight isn't comming off as I hoped. Looking at others weight loses it could be better. If I started some exercise would that help or just make me feel week and hungry. What are you lot up to and how do you believe your best weight loses are acheived? When you go all out for a good weight loss week, what do you do?
 
Hi and well done on your weight loss so far. :) I know you have to be careful whilst exercising on SS. You need to up your water intake. I think that whilst on SS you are not suppost to do any high impact exercise but Im sure a CDC will come along soon to tell you. I haven't done any exercise what so ever :ashamed0005: and still lost. The only thing I do walk up to my daughters school most days but thats it.
I think alot of people will say 'the more you drink the more you shrink' so just make sure you are having lots of water as this may help with the weight loss x

What's your goal in 5 weeks? And why do you feel 8lb in one week isn't good enough?

As for exercise what did you used to do before CD? As it is only recommended that you walk or carry on with exercise you did previously.

Personally I swam, did karate once a week and walked. So am still doing all 3. :) But not in excess, just as I did before.

Due to the VLCD nature of CD it is not recommended to 'over do it' if you are only taking in a low amount of calories then burn off too many you could end up in starvation mode and not lose any weight at all - this is when the body refuses to let it go! :rolleyes:

It is normal to lose around a stone and a half in the first month on CD then an average of 14lbs a month if you are doing SS.. But everyone is different :) But one thing is for sure, there are very few diets that work as well ;).

Thankyou purple hugs and triple trouble. I do walk most days with the kids and was thinking of maybe doing a brisk 30 min thing a day. Yes 8lb in first week is cool but since then I've lost 1lb and am coming to week 2 weigh in. If I loose just 1lb I will be dissapointed. My goal is 1 1/2st in 5 weeks for a holiday, which also means I will fit into my massive wardrobe of size 16 again. Whatt ever weight loss happens I just want to know I did everything in my power to get there and then i can do no more.
I drink water +++ anyway but may try and step that up a bit. More advise welcome and thanks to those that have already posted.
