Some help?

Hi i've just started LT yesterday so really just finding my feet with this.

Took a flapjack this evening and couldn't finish it as it was rotten. Feeling very hungry now but keep drinking water. Can see myself going to bed at 9pm tonight! :p

Will this get easier?
 
It does get easier, usually about day 3 or 4 when your body goes into ketosis. Well done for getting this far and stay strong. The first week i was in bed about 9.30 everynight as i was so hungry i thought if i am asleep i cant eat lol

Thats what i thought, go to bed and food won't be calling you! Haha!

I know this is the best way to lose weight as i just can't cut back on stuff. All or nothing really.

Just thought i'd post to talk to someone to try and help.
 
Hi Anne-Marie and welcome to LT. Yes it does get easier, especially once you get the first week out of the way.

You were very brave to try a flapjack so soon, I tried a coconut one about 3 weeks ago and could only manage 2/3 of it. It was horrendous, I was nearly ill!

Keep going though and it will get better. Your first week's weigh in will spur you on for the next week and this will carry on! I really look forward to my weigh ins and most people do.
 
Well done for getting so far and dont worry, you could go into ketosis tomorrow or the next day and you will feel much better and get heaps more energy.

Thanks so much everyone, needed to hear from other people going thru the same thing.

It's the lack of energy and i know when i don't eat what i want i can find myself snapping at people when i don't want to.

Friday will be weigh in day and i hope it will go well. I have a LOT to lose. I keep going put in my weight in my profile but then being to embarrassed to.
 
You don't have to put anything in your profile that you don't want to. Make up a weight loss ticker, it really spurs you on to see how far you have come. I've also got a lot of weight to lose but don't give up, keep going and it will come off. Just imagine yourself in the summer, all trim and slim and not sweating your **** off (or is that just me?).

Just wanted to say that putting your weight in is entirely optional but we're all here for the same reason and the best thing is that everyone is sooo friendly on here and doesn't judge. I was a bit scared to put my weight down but then I did it and no one made comments or anything about it. No one is like that on here. :D
You're doing great so far and I wish you loads of luck on your weigh in day, if you keep going, you'll have a great result! :D xxxxx

Oh no it's not just you! :p Last summer thats all i did was sweat!

I must look into getting a ticker sorted out as it would be great to see the progress!

Yes you are right so i shouldn't feel like that. I'll probably end up putting it up anyway because in a few months time i'm no longer going to be that weight!
 
Welcome hun! I am on day 4 (2nd time on KT) and think I hit keytosis today! Feeling a good bit better so hang in there. Once you do your weigh in next week and see how much you have lost you will be well motivated.

Like everyone else said you don't have to put your weight but do put your losses! You will be amazed as the weeks tick by how motivating it is. You will be very proud of them soon!
 
Thanks Sara! I've been brave and put up my weight and will put up my progress every week. I'm determined to do this as i do not want to stay looking like this forever.

Good for you and you wont be at this weight for long. Just wait til your first wi. You will be so pleased.
 
Must admit i am looking forward to the first WI! lol

Oh i can't believe how bad those flapjacks are. It was the coconut one i had is the peanut butter one any better?
