Excercise for Health

Hi everyone, thought i would share this with you all. Recently been to see my doctor and he told me that i could get a gym pass for 12 wks under the excercise for health programme! It was easily arranged via the nurse and for £7.50 you get 24 sessions over 12 wks at participating lifestyle centres! Apparently you are assigned a member of staff and they stick with you through the 12 wks, once you finish you can go back to see nurse and they give you another 12 wks! Apparantly tai chi and swimming can be incorporated into the programme too. I live in Liverpool so not sure if other areas are doing this too but worth asking! I am waiting to start

Ive never heard of it, but get free use of the camp gym anyway. Have fun getting fit! xx

lifestyles - picton, peter lloyd, ellergreen, one in walton?, park road. But if you ask your doc surgery they have full list.
