Moving group this late on in the day!

There were only three of us left in our group for Foundation. Two of the lovely girls were nibbling and have decided that they want to go to RTM and try to lose the last stone there. However, I'm determined to lose my last 9lb or I'll regret it, so I'm joining a Foundation group on a Thursday evening - I don't now get weighed in until a week on Thursday so hoping for a nice big loss!! I bought extra packs tonight and it cost me £99!

Anyway, the group is apparently new, so they are all at the beginning and I'm at the end. I don't mind going back over old stuff, as I feel I missed out a lot, but how do you think the dynamics of this will work??

I should just need to do another three weeks possibly and then can hopefully join my old buddies in RTM group, so it's not something that I have to worry too much about, but it's going to be very strange! Good job I'm not shy!

Don't worry too much about it... Treat the new group as a fresh bunch of faces and get to know them... I was thrown about through quite a few groups after Foundation (few moved to RTM, few dropped out, few changed groups..) ... but I do have to say, no other group made me as satisfied as the first Foundation ladies I had... Stay strong, stay positive, I'm sure there'll be someone you'll click with! ;)

Like Minerva said, just don't worry about it (though I get the sense from your post that you arn't anyway :) ) and just treat them as some new faces - don't forget, to them, you're going to be an inspiration, I bet they'll have lots of questions for you.

I know that if it was me, at this stage in the game I don't feel as though I 'need' my group at all, but then I never really felt that way anyway, this has all been about me, but then from the many posts on here I gather that the men and women's groups (and namely, the way which they view and use the group aspect) is VERY different, so it's easy for me to say I wouldn't involve myself too much for the sake of 3 weeks with a 'new group' but that's just me :p

Agree wholeheartedly sensible Pete!

LS - I think I might love you! Can you come and live with me and talk to me daily just before I leave to start my day each morning - loving your little pearls and still use the one you mentioned months ago about "being the person I was designed to be".

Loving you lot!

Hee, hee!! Pete and LS I'm loving it on here tonight - my husband thinks I've lost it as I keep giggling!!

LS I saw the comment to Catz and loved it all over again!

I'm full of love this evening...good job Mike's gone to bed - he'd faint I think!

OOooh, don't die on me LS now that I've found you I just can't let you go! (Isn't that a song???)

And double OOooh, what new man!! Tell all girl! Er, piccies are obligatory....

That happened to me

Poppy, the same thing happened to me when BL and others moved on to RTM and I was left behind in developers with people I didn't really know well. It was fine, but i'm glad I persevered and stayed till I had lost all my weight.
2 ladies who thought they'd lose the last bit on RTM are really struggling now and have gone into a Returners group.
I hope they'll be okay, but 1 lady in particular I think will end up putting it all back on and I can see her confidence oozing away after all that hard work.
You carry on and do what's right for you.
Then grab RTM with both hands (no - Pete!). It seems to be the key to long term success.
I'll be thinking of you this afternoon.
Remember, an interview is a 2 way process. Be confident, don't grovel.
Give them your best. Good luck xxx

I'm hoping that the relationship goes the distance so that we can have pics, mind you, there's a thought, I've never seen a pic of you!!! What's that all about LS?!! ;-)

SB, thanks for that. My two lovely colleagues from my group have struggle a bit since they ate at Xmas I think. I know that they don't regret it, but I'm so glad that I decided that it was just one day and not to bother. I really feel for them.

I am definitely doing the remainder of Foundation until I reach goal weight and then I'll be completing RTM as I've seen how successful you and BL have been.

As for the interview, I think that I was confident and asked a couple of good questions at the end - we'll see!!
