been on the diet 1 week today and for the last 3 days my shoulders and arms ache, not done anything different to cause this, but it feels like ive been working out on my arms, is this a symptom of the diet? thanks

I've had this too, it's probably because your muscles no longer have their "ready to use" energy stored in them (ie glycogen) and so your body is having to get used to 'putting' the energy it gets from the fats it's breaking down where it needs to go.

Certainly for the first few weeks, I noticed that my arms felt 'tired' after doing something which I usually take for granted (i.e. carrying a box of paper accross the school building). It seems to get better, though I definately don't feel as 'strong' as I did pre-LL, but like I said it's just because that 'instant' energy is not there anymore.

You get used to it! :)
