Hi does anyone have a positive mantra they use that they'd like to share?

Just wondering as my new one (and a couple of others) is:

'I am successful'

'I am confident'

'I am content'

Anyway just thought it might be nice to share what helps us :).

Mine is..

"No one can make you feel inferior without your consent"

Its helped my change my general outlook, my struggle with thinking about other thoughts on me - or rather what I THINK others think about me which then makes me depressed or angry! - and also on this diet as I take it as I now have the tool from CBT that means I can refuse myself consent to make me feel that way now!

Woo hoo!

Mine is leaner, fitter, faster, stronger...

and carpe diem - seize the day

'it's only food' is mine

(i think it was huseyin who inspired me with this just as i started LL)

Daisy, just realised that I've been saying this to myself constantly without really realising it! I've been doing a mantra and I didn't know! It is only food, feels good for a minute or two then leads to all sorts of misery! ;-)

I also work in a school and our motto is "aim high in all things " !!!

but at the moment my main mantra is "ive done it before so i can do it again" thats is whats going through my head over and over...especially tonight where i have been very tempted as been on my own with just the dog, i usually would have gotten a chinese & some wine but it has killed me to sit through my film with a bottle of fizzy water..i know i will be thankful on monday when i get weighed !!!

Other people's issues are not my problem.

One I stole grom my LLC
"Build a bridge and get over yourself"

I apply it to myself as well as other people.

I love quotes and need to go get more but from my facebook page, some things to live by:

"Your goals, minus your doubts, equal your reality." - Ralph Marston

"You must begin to think of yourself as becoming the person you want to be." - David Viscott

"You're never beaten until you admit it." - George S. Patton

"Be the change that you want to see in the world." - Ghandi.

For me it's probably;
"One day at a time." especially on this diet.

What got me through life in general is always telling myself:
"It's not as bad as it seems."
... this one may not work for everyone. But it helps me remember that it could be so much worse. It has ALWAYS helped me endure through tough moments because I know things will get better, things will change eventually. Patience is key.

It's a big cliche but I was always try ro say to myself, tomorrow is another day. And this applies to my life in general, no matter how crap my day has been or how much I want to jack this diet in and order the takeaway I always think of tomorrow and hopefully it will be a better day, and quite often it is.

Having been dictated to for most of my life, I only have one that for the past six years I've yelled at people, gone to sleep with and even sing happily now.

It's MY life.

There's some really fab stuff in here :) hope it's inspiring others as much as it is me :)
