Holiday Question

Hi all

I am going away for 2 nights in a couple of weeks on a spa break. My husband booked it as a birthday present months ago when i could eat lol. It is all inclusive, breakfast in your room, 3 course buffet lunch and 3 course dinner! I was thinking if i took shakes with me would it be possible to have 2 shakes in the day and something healthy to eat for my evening meal?

Thanks

ITs completley up to you chick!
Most people do refeed for going away.. And if you try to stay away from carbs you should be ok...

But Ive heard it is alot harder to get back into the swing of things once you eat xx

Sounds like a good idea to me- try and have 1 or 2 shakes in the day then have a high protein low carb meal! Some things like spending time with the OH are more important than the diet. I feel sorry for my OH a big part of our social life is eating out and i have sacrificed the diet on a few occasions for this reason but ive been very careful and i dont think its effected my weight loss xx

I personally wouldnt eat on holiday just stick to shakes but then that is my personal opinion - if you really wanted to eat then stay away from carbs as this will make it harder to get back into full 3 shakes and no food a day when you restart :)

Thanks girls for the opinions.

I think i will have a low carb meal in the evening. He has paid for all inclusive and i dont think it will be very romantic me sitting there watching him eat!! I will take my blender and have the shakes in the day and think it should be fairly easy to get back on it as i am determined to lose weight.

kmgvet, i totally understand. We have a sitter once a fortnight and we go out for dinner, not sure what we are going to do on thursday when we are due to go out. We also go out for a lot of meals with friends so that will have to be put on hold. I am going out for lunch with some girls on Tuesday so that will be interesting!!
