i was hoping that someone could give me some low point really quick and easy things to make. i can't afford to buy things to take to work for lunch so will have to make them, but don't have time at the moment to spend ages cooking.

anything anyone can recommend that's yummy, low in points and ready in minutes?

or failing that something in a packet that isn't very expensive that i can bung in the microwave at work if i can't be bothered.

i try to make more the night before but usually fail to do so...

soup ? thats fairly cheap and quick in a microwave home made or canned. as for ready meals the ww from heinz (frozen in the pruple boxes) are loads cheaper than the actual ww ones (which are chilled)
If i think of anything else i'll be back

batchelors condensed chicken or mushroom soups are 2 per can - open em up, water em down and stick em in a tub to take to work - theyre only 50p a tin in asda too and dead filling :D

sorry not much advice, but if you cook on a night time and make anything low pointed, why not make a little extra that you can tub up for work? I do that a lot as i live on my own - make 2 or more portions and will keep for work the next day or freeze for another time xx

sometimes for a change, i half microwave a jacket potato and put it with 1/2 tin of baked beans, then when i take it to work i zap it for 4 minutes and voila perfectly done jacket and beans for no more than 5.5 points and thats if i have a mahoosive tattie! :)

i basically cook extra veg when i am making a meal, then just add veg stock, seasoning and then i have a lovely veg soup for a few days ready for work. i also buy those plastic containers, like the ones from the chinese, in the £1 shop. i think you get either 10 or 20. then you can freeze it in the correct portions.
