Firstly a big hello to you all
I posted earlier on the low carb board but I thought is also introduce myself here:)
Ive lost almost 3 stone on Cambrige and wish to loose another 1 stone 4 pounds
However on cambridge since xmas ive lost 4 pounds and its disheartening
But if I confess to you all I was on the 810 plan and has 2 shakes plus chicken and greens for dinner but didnt really weigh my greens that probabily why
Anyway id like to start eating now as the cravings on CD were getting too much
I had and love sugar free jelly and that takes away the cravings but im told thats a no no on CD but ok on atkins
I have a few questions. If I have 2 CD porriages a day plus a meal of say chicken breast,lettuce (how much am I allowed) with that low card ceaser dressing and one egg white (dont like yolks) how will this effect me?
This is what I ate tonight and boy do I feel better
I had xmas off CD and have lost that weight but since xmas have never been in katosis
Also can I have diet pepsi/coke
If I have 2 of the porriages what else should I be looking at eating in a day?
I guess im asking for a helping hand pretty please? as if my weight stays the same for another week I may have to binge:eek:
 
Also please if just found a website that lists common food and there carb content.
Ive brought a common lettuce from Iceland and it says 1.3g carbs per cup so what is a cup and how many cups would a whole lettuce be do you think?
 
The cup measure is from the US JM, I found it to be the size of a large coffee mug. Remember that is chopped up and measured by the cup.
 
Please do yourself a favour and lose the diet coke/pepsi. It really is the devils drink. Don't forget you need to drink water, water, wter and then some more water.....

Remember you don't just have to have rabbit food-lettuce. You could have sprouts, broccoli, cauliflower, spinach etc etc.

I can't remember if I said on my reply on the other board that I am having more veg than CD allow. I am following the principles of LL Lite and having more like a cereal bowl full. I only chose the lower carb veggies, but do add a little bit of onion, mushroom and pepper from time to time. I also have a complete mix of salad leaves, to make it more interesting.

I agree about dropping the diet coke. It's evil and you will soon find you don't miss it. Try sparkling water as a change.

Trouble being I hate plain water and vomit up sparkling
I havent a clue why
I can drink tea and usually have it with a sweetner how would that be?
 
You'd have to drink a lot of Tea!

Have you tried drinking water through a straw? I read somewhere that helps.
 
I agree with Jim that it would be tons of tea and then I think you would have too much caffiene.

What about water with the flavourings. I thought that CD did them but could be wrong??? Good idea about trying a straw.
 
CDC was as much good as a choc tea pot and never had mix a mousse or flavourings
I can easily guzzle tea but I dont think your allowed milk are you so im a bit stuck

Is there another CDC that you could go to? If not could you complain to CD head office and would they sell it to you via the post?

hey lettuce is just under 2 g carbs per 100g xx
