I kind of know the answer to this, i mean they have more carbs in, apart from the peanut one which has less.

So what im asking is, why can't you have more than one peanut bar a day? I love them and it would be really handy if i could have 2 a day, as I'm really busy during the day.

Hiya,

Most bars have more carbs except peanut maybe, but all bars have more calories. Since CD is based on low calories and low carbs it's not allowed to have more than 1 a day. Why not try tetra's?

It depends on how sensitive your body is to carbs, some people can have 3 bars a day and be fine and some people struggle with just 1 bar a day. You could try having more than 1 and see if your weight loss keeps at a steady rate.

Ah hadnt thought about the calories! Having one 2 bars a day adds 60 calories than if i was having porridge or soup.

Thanks, i'm happy with my weight loss! You girlies have amazing weight losses aswell!

Oh and i dont really like the tetra, taste mediciney lol, i can have the chocolate one every now and then but dont like the other two :(

Wow, I have to say this toot totally missed it! You've done really amazing, congrats!

Thanks, lemis. How long has it took you to lose all your weight? I'm so impressed! Hows maintenance going for you? Did you do SS? or one of the other plans?

Hiya,

It's going okay. Took me about 5,5-6 months to get the weight off. I did SS and SS+ (AAM) every 4th week. :)

Steps up are going okay, will be off CD packs completely from saturday on and will try to stick to 1250-1500kcal then to see how it goes. Will be getting more info from CDC to help me maintain etc.

Having some blips here and there and gained back some water weight when I started eating carbs in some forms (had major loss first week, most of it water! ;-)) but overall it's going quite well thanks. :)

^_^

Sorry lostris, no idea why i said lemis lol! How are you finding the new you? If you don't mind me asking how many dress sizes did you drop? What exercises did you do to prevent extra skin? I've got loads to lose and don't really want to end up with loads of saggy skin.

Hiya,

No worries haha, thought you meant me so just answered!! :)

Umm I went from size 50 to size 38-40 europe sizes which is err.. from UK 22 to UK 10-12 :)

According to this lol;

Women's Clothing Size Conversions

I rode my bike to school 30min there and back (if I was fast) for about 3/4 of my CD journey. I also went for walks from time to time but nothing big... Used thermal... algae body scrub 3-4x a week coz it's known for it's ''fat dissolving'' and ''metabolism stimulating'' properties (said google and the bottle :'')). Other than that I haven't done much. I don't have major saggy skin, but my tummy and arms are a bit blah! :) Will work on the muscles there when I start at the gym in a few weeks (pretty sick at the mo, and no money lol).

I'm liking the new me but I don't see me as I am when I look in the mirror.. I still see ''fat me'' which is quite confusing and frustrating.. :( Hope that will get better!

I'm sure you'll do fine; there's some topics on the forum about excersizing to prevent saggy skin but not sure where exactly.

Hi Diddums

Sorry to jump in but if you like the cranberry bars they are lower carb like the peanut ones, but also lower calorie (unlike peanut or any of the others) at 153cals each which is comparable to the sachets. But...another side effect of more than one bar a day can be wind/tummy cramps/squirts

By the way well done on your loss so far. :)

Thanks Serena :) Are there people who can have more than one bar a day without ill effects? I havent had a problem with the bars so far, but the only ones i eat are the cranberry and peanut ones as i find the others sickly sweet :(

Thanks sleepybird, how often do you do this? I'm not planning on doing it everyday, but sometimes when im rushed it would be easier for me
