Hi
Found this place totally by accident while googling abdo surgery. I'm 53 and have dieted on and off for years, but never achieved my ideal weight, and did the classic putting it all plus more back on each time. Now I am older I am really beginning to suffer the effects of being 9 stone overweight and sought the help of my GP. I am taking Orlistat, which I think helps a little bit, but my loss is still extremely slow. I have lost 2st over the last 9 months and am currently only losing 1 - 2 lb a month, following the WW diet. I am so depressed about this hateful fat. Most of it is on my stomach which is uncomfortable as well as disfiguring, and I know I will have loads of saggy skin afterwards and I won't be able to afford an abdominoplasty, even if I'm not too old for one. I cried in bed about this last night. My husband has been impotent for almost 15 years now and I'm sure it's because I am so ugly. I so regret the loss of my sexuality and the sheer fun of wearing nice clothes, something I haven't ever really been able to do. What a waste of a life. I would like to get rid of this ugly fat so I can at least have a couple of years of looking nice before I am really old.
All you young ladies out there - take me as a warning - get that weight off before you get too old......

Oh Gina what a sad story. I really hope you are successful. Good luck

My husband has been impotent for almost 15 years now and I'm sure it's because I am so ugly.

I don't think that is the cause Gina. He should see a Dr.

No worries Gina, I just hope you start losing well. :)

Hiya Gina and :welcome: to Mini's. I really feel the pain coming from your words. *hugs* You asked in another thread what Lipotrim (LT for short) is. It's a total food replacement diet, you replace your 3 meals a day with formula foods which are nutritionally complete. It's very strict but results are fab. We have a message board dedicated to it.

I hope your confidence picks up soon.:)
