Restart on CD - day 5

:) Well, I've restarted again today. I'm feeling pleased with myself because I've managed to abstain totally today. :) I am especially happy that I've managed to get through "tea time" when I used to find it really difficult. I've been mooching on here and DH to keep myself away from the fridge and I'm beginning to believe that I CAN do this again (I know rationally that I can as I did when I began LL but it is always more difficult after falling off the wagon isn't it?)
I'm off to Amsterdam in October for my birthday so I'm using that as my incentive. I've been doing a yoga work out as well so hopefully I'll start to tone up as well as shrink.
Anyway, sorry for waffling on but this is keeping my hands occupied and away from making anything to munch on he he he. :p
Take care

M

You go Moomum, I'm on my 5th day of a restart and will be on day 6 in the morning ;) :D

It is hard but we'll do it :D

Well, day one is out of the way. I'm on day 2 and up to now have had a hot choc/mint and a strawberry pack. I'm feeling very virtuous! he he :) Hub has just gone to work and no 2 daughter is asleep. no 1 is pottering around drawing pictures for me. She's covered in red felt tip at the moment. Don't know how I'm going to get it off in the bath (short of using a brillo pad that is! )
My mum's coming around this PM so I think I'll ask her to sort the girl's tea out and I'll have a nap. That way I'll avoid my "danger time" which is usually around 3 - 5pm ish. My other re-starts have fallen victim to this time (usually at the hands of a ham butty or toast!)

Day 5

So far so good. I'm still hanging in there and have lost 5lb up to now. :) :)
I think I'm in ketosis now because my mouth tastes a bit "funny" (which it did when I was on LL). I'll wee on a stick later to check.:p
I've had a hot choc mint today and a choc/orange bar. That bar was totally scrumptious, I've never tried them before but I think I'll be trying them again!:)
I got a catalogue delivered today. Don't know why cos I don't use them, but I've amused myself by "virtual shopping" for all the clothes I'm going to splurge on when I get to goal and am a slinky size 12(ish) ...... It passed the time nicely and also kept me away from the fridge! I think I'll use it as a distraction tool when I'm feeling food pangs, I'll look at it instead and have a nice glass of CD flavoured water and think of being skinnier.....
Ah well, whatever works....

Hi M:)

Here is a link to myvirtualmodel:

You can create your own model and put clothes on her, the best part is that you can see all the stages of weight loss by increasing or decreasing her weight.

Trying out hair styles as well.

I have now changed my hair blonde and cut it as I liked it so much on my model...:D :D :D

Let me know how you get on with it?

Thanks Mini. I'll give it a go. Strangely enough I have been thinking about drastically changing my hair length/colour when I get to goal. Its been long and dark for ages and I keep winding my husband up that I'm going to go spiky and blonde. Now I can sort of see what it'd look like....

Hi M:) ,

I wore my hair long on and off, it grows very fast and now that it is going grey:( I found that I had a train track or landing strip down the middle of my head and it came every four weeks:eek:

Now that it is blond with highlights you don't notice it so much and I think the colour suits my tone that I am older...

I am not spiky, but a flattering bob...got it cut too short at one point but now letting it grow and it is more feminine.

I have learnt to straighten it myself and it comes out very good and I am happy with it now, the change to blond, blond took me a while to get use to, nearly put a dye in it when I came home from the hairdressers:rolleyes:

It is a gamble to change your hair as it can go well or wrong and I have experienced both from time to time down the years. But as they say nothing ventured nothing gained.
