Hey! I start tomorow!

Hiya,

I am starting Slim Fast tomorow. I have done it before, I lost the weight and found it easy to stick to. However I had a 3week cruise and obviously could not stick to it.
Right now with no distractions or events, it is the perfect chance for me to do this.

I have the powder and skimmed milk. Aim to eat fruit as the snacks. With the 600 calorie meal in the evening!

Wish me look!

Sarah

Welcome to SF and good luck :O)

:welcome2:back to sf Jazzy and good luck, hope you enjoy the forums as much as i do, they are my saving grace in times of hunger.

HI,

Welcome. That cruise sounds fantastic. My husband and I have always fancied one but as we are both greedier than the greediest of pigs are holding back until we are really old so it won't matter that we can eat for 24 hours a day.

In the meantime camping in Suffolk ( crikey, probably will rain the whole time ) is our holiday of choice this year and we will have to eat continually to keep warm.
I am loving slim fast and have lost 11 pounds in nearly 5 weeks.

Hey Sarah, hows your first day going?

Mine was hell :8855:i could not get my head around not stuffing my face if I wasn't smoking or drinking coffee. :8855:

Good Luck!!

Yesterday was like that for me too. I was bored and my daughter was really making me angry. Terrible twos you know.. she had two accidents yesterday! She's been accident free for like, I dunno.. since she was first officially potty trained (still throw her in a pull up at night... it would be different if she slept in her bed, but she insists on sleeping in mine!)

Anyways.. I smoke too... it's next on my list of things to not do :8855:... but I am waiting to until I loose most of this weight. I have a prescription for chantix... but it's so expensive to fill. $120 for a month? Sheesh!

I gave up smoking six weeks ago today. :( I miss it a lot. I know it's bad for me and everything else but you know....

To be fair it was easy giving up while being on a diet. I have been so involved in my diet that I didn't have any time for a nicotine craving.

I just miss the habit now, and they 7pm ciggy when my little boy has gone to bed and I can stand in the garden in peace and quiet.

Now at 7pm I do my fitness dvd and collapse into the bath.:8855:

Thanks for the comment guys.

So far so good.! No cheating anyway.
I have the easy part over and done with, while at work, as I never have time to eat.
I have made chicken soup this evening, proud of myself as I never made chicken soup from scratch.
Just have the evening to go. I should have gone out on my first night to avoid snacking.

I am quite sure I will no cheat this evening, but to be sure I think I'll throw out that chocolate in the fridge lol

:8855: I get him in bed at 6.30pm !!:8855:
We do the same thing every night and have done since the day we brought him home from hospital. He sleeps well (most of the time) and wakes about 7.30 am.
I can't get him dry at night though but I'm not worried about that yet. :D

god, i remember those days lol. i couldn't wait for bath and bed time just to have my own space, now though they're awake when i go to bed and have problems with them getting to sleep now. i usually catch my middle son with a torch reading under his covers, little devil!

 Ayleigh is my night owl. And my morning person all in one. She will stay up as late as possible.... and gets up around 7am.. not later than 8am. Now, when her father has her.. he'll let her stay up until she passes out.. But I don't play those games because I'm the one who has to wake her up at 6:30 to get ready for school. She is not a nice baby when you wake her up either.

I think I have found a secret weapon in getting her to wake up... I invite my cat into the room.. she loves Fine and will wake up instantly just to maul the cat! :8855:

LR I know what you mean, Eddie is not happy if he is woken up. The little ***** smacked me one right in the mouth once when I had to wake him for an early start!! :8855: I'm lucky he loves his bed nearly as much as I love mine.

Lol... unfortunately, Ayleigh loves MY bed as much as I love it. She hasn't slept in her own bed since I rearranged the room and moved her crib, which also coincided with a period of time when she was really sick.

So she sleeps with me. Mostly I don't mind it. But she takes up alot of space for such a small body!!!

Lol why do small children do that?

I'll only have Eddie in bed with at weekends when we are having our morning cup of tea. ... Well I try and drink tea and he jumps on the bed untill I threaten him with the loss of a limb!! :8855:
