my first weigh in and 0.5lb off :-(

hello, just weighed (am not allowed on scales in week!) and only lost 0.5lb:mad:, however saying that I feel better, have eaten loads (maybe too much) and did have 1 night off to go to a tapas bar, but kinda hoped for more. Its going to be hard staying away from scales until next sat! Got my boys 5th weeks and want to be 5lbs lighter, I know I need to have faith in s.world and carry on...
also just come off pill so feel "full of water"
any tips for a 5lbs loss in 3 weeks:jelous:???!!!!
got nothing in my way beofre next saturday (apart from 1 lunch out at friends and 1 night for drinks but can limit myself)
 
wow! thats a fantastic weight loss, I kinda think well it does not feel like i have been on a diet - not gone hungry etc, just put my stats into the weight chart and if I carry on i will be at goal in jul - which actually is not too far away,
I have done ww etc lost a lot more but then binge ate on unhealthy food, so I will stick at it,
just got to hide the scales away until next sat!
you weight is similar to mine - do you eat loads/cos I have a big appetite!
 
Hi Susie, well done on your first week, you don't actually have a lot to lose so may find that the weight will come off really slowly, esp if you can't be 100% all week, I would imagine that the night at the tapas bar has probably done it hun, when you have loads to lose (2 or more stones) you can usually get away with the odd night off but when you get down to a stone or so it gets very difficult to shift the weight.

If you are serious about wanting 5lbs off in 3wks, you may have to cut your syns back to around 5 a day, still fill up on free food so you don't go hungry though but just aim for 1lb a week max and anything else is a bonus
 
Oh sweetie, if you've just come off the pill your body's going to be all over the place. Just keep going, eat all your ff (my weight loss has increased so much since I started eating more) and hexs and you'll soon have that five pounds off.

Pick up a half pound of butter and just think - I don't have that smeared round me anymore. Well done!
 
harrie and natalee. thank you so much , I have hiden the scales away (as am a obsessive weigher!) I did think poss I was eating too much so glad other peopel have good meals, i do feel bloated/full of water, so will keep at it, I always have weetabix or porridge for breakfast, fruit mid am, lunch today potato, whole can of beans (is this too much) and salad, fruit pm, then tonight doing a curry but I will have quorn, rice and 1/4 jar (which is 5 syns) so will keep at it/record everything down!
defin so much harder the less you have to lose!!
