Hi there, well i guess i shall start at the beginning.

Im 28 and been off and on w/w diets for about 10 years. i am now the heaviest iv ever been (without counting my 3 pregnantcies, two of which were c-sections). I stated w/w again on the 5-1-09 and to date have lost a fantastic 15.5lbs I intend to lose another 33.5lb before christmas. My goal is to speak to my gp and see if i can have a tummy tuck on the nhs. im unhappy with my shape as well as the weight and see this a positive way forward.

Does anyone have any advise to offer??

Thank you

Hi - I'm new here too. :D

The only advice I can give is to say look at all the fantastic sucsess stories on here they are so good.

I had a c-section and I have been left with that "apron" on my tummy and I am also planning to see my GP when I have lost the weight to see if I can get a tummy tuck on the NHS.

Good Luck with your diet.

Hi im new here also i dont start my diet till next monday but im gettin a tattoo on the wednesday. I was told by the tattooest to have something light to eat before i go. Will i be ok without anything to eat?

Is this your first tattoo?

If it is then you will need to have something to eat and take something with you as well and also take water.

You may feel a bit light headed, even if the tattoo doesn't hurt the adrenaline will make you feel a bit woozy.

Wht you have done anyway? :D

You'll find the site really helpful. When I last nearly 4 stone on Cambridge, I used to come on and just read, it was so motivating!

Hi S.Porter,

I am in the same position at the moment. I have been referred to a PS by my GP as I have had to large children C-sections which has left me with a ruined stomach. There are some great success stories on here. I am hoping I will add to the bunch. There is a thread that I started "Has anyone had and NHS tummy tuck?" there are a few success stories on there, but if you search tummy tuck you will find loads. Some with pics. Keep us posted and good luck!
