Has any very very kind person got a recipe for the above for a green day with very little syns.
i have no idea how to go about making it from scratch...i was a jar person in the past.

i've got a real craving now!!!! please someone help:cry:

This is one I used years ago on SW and has always been a favourite green day chilli of mine.

1 large onion, chopped
1 clove garlic, crushed
2 tsp paprika
2 tsp chilli powder
2 tsp coriander
1 tsp cumin
425g can kidney beans, drained
425g can chopped tomatoes
1 level tbsp tomato puree
1 pint vegetable stock made with vecon (or can use chicken/beef bovril)
425g can chickpeas, drained

  1. Dry fry onion in Fry light until softened, add the garlic and all the spices and cook for about 5 minutes.
  2. Add all the remaining ingredients except chickpeas and simmer for 20-30 mins.
  3. Put the chickpeas in a blender and blend to a pulp (alternatively use a potato masher). Add to the pan and cook for a few minutes.
The blended chickpeas give a lovely thickness to it. It's great served with grated cheese (HEX), very low fat fromage frais dolloped on top and a little guacamole (1.5 syns/tbsp) if you're feeling decadent!

Hi i tend to make this one on gree days and the oh loves it to.
you will need one large red onion, 1 large pepper, loads of sliced mushrooms, 1 tin of kidney beans, one tin of baked beans and a packet Schwartz Hot Chili con Carne Recipe Mix (6 sins) and 100ml of water

1. Brown the onion, mushrooms and pepper until soft

2. Add the packet contents, tomatoes, kidney beans(drained) and baked beans and water then Bring to the boil stirring.

3. Cover and simmer gently for 15-20 minutes, stirring occasionally.

4. Serve with boiled rice yummy :D

You could add quorn mince and have it on a green day (to Stacey's recipe)
I make it in the same way, but without chick peas and have quorn in it, or mince on an extra easy day.
You could put mince in as a HEXB, but you don't get a lot of mince in the allowance I found.
Mmmm... I love Chilli!!!

i made chilli this evenin, used the top recipe, is it off the sw recipe page? it was really tasty. x

Don't completely trust me on this but I have been eaten today the asdas organic tinned three bean chilli. It was decent and I've been told it's free??

Hi Stacey

Just cooked this recipe (added quorn mince instead of chickpeas) - absolutely delicious, thanks!
