Thanks for sharing - cottage cheese bake has already made my day, just imagining it... will have it for tea.... yum!
xx
PS - are they to serve one or two?

Well galaxy I just had the cottage cheese bake!! I made it slightly differently to you, I used plain cottage cheese (not smooth either) and didn't use the mushrooms or the chives and mint but I put a bit of grated cheese on top instead and I have to say it was delicious!! In fact I think I will have that again tomorrow night and will definitely be having it even when I finish the diet, thank you so much for sharing your recipe with us xx

Hi

I am a little confused AAM no longer exists it has been substituted by SS+, this of course can be introduced every fifth week as AAM used to be.

However, your portion sizes seem a little large. You are only supposed to have 2 tbs of veg in total in some of the recipes you have several tbs and mushrooms as well.

Green beans, peas and turnips are not allowed on this programme.

Hiya linda,
i was told by my cdc it was add a meal as been doing the ss for 12 weeks. i have used the book given to me also by my cdc (weight care with cambridge book) on page 6 it says How long is this step? it says use this step upto 12 weeks on page 8 of that book it dose state turnip, and mushroom, green leaves . in green box it says choose 3 tbs of the veg listed below the mushroom are tiny size button mushrooms which i did say cut into 4 which makes 24 peices. in the blue box it says do add herbs which is mint, chives, parsley. i must agree peas and green beans i thought were ok with been green veg, i thought i was been told right now i dont no you have confused me a bit which is right, i dont want to be giveing receipes out which are wrong maybe i may be best not listing any in the first place.

Hey hun, don't worry :hug99: It's good see recipes for the 810 up here  Just got to be sure it'll be okay for everyone :)

It gets confusing with the old terminology. AAM for some people is SS+ and for others 810...depends, so probably best to just call it 810.

You're right that the quantities of the vegs 810 are 3 tablespoons, but it's 3 tablespoons in total, not for each veg. Sorry :(

Also peas and beans are lugumes and not allowed as they have higher carb levels. Best to keep to the ones written in the book.

I know your intentions are good and the recipes are so creative

Look forward to seeing more...please. I know people will appreciate them.

Well done on the 3lbs loss. That's fab (especially considering the legumes :D)

Galaxy, thanks for posting... I am still very keen to try the cottage cheese bake & I know others will love the meat/fish ones too! It's actually good that you have posted, I wasn't sure the amounts were right as it seemed a lot, but thanks to KD & Linda we are all a bit clearer on the quantities. The booklets aren't as clear as I'd like them to be either, so it's an easy mistake to make. And as KD says, I think it's just that your cdc is calling 810 by it's old name!
It's great to see some recipes for 810 on here, so keep being creative in the kitchen - and keep sharing! Thanks.

Hiya everyone,

I am sorry about how many tbs should be used it is not very clear and thankfully Linda and KD have put it right for me and you so will change the amount so it will not cause a problem for anyone else. At least we will all no for next time on 810 week :)
good luck to every body
