whats the most?.........

Oh Boy...thats a toughie, everything I eat on SW is the most filling and tastiest, otherwise I wouldnt be doing it!! Lol..sorry Huni, I really do have too many to decide upon!

Depends one what sorts of things you like. To some, a nice salad is the nicest thing on earth. Whilst to someone else, a mountain of pasta is just the thing. Tastes vary so much.

I made something last night that was fab... and free (if using the cheese as a Healthy A). A packet of Pasta-n-Sauce Mild Cheese & Broccoli Flavour, made up as directed. Mix in a small tub of lowest fat cottage cheese and two beaten eggs. Put in a dish and bung it in the oven until set, towards the end, put some grated cheddar on top til golden. It's a lovely satisfying meal of cheesy pasta bake. I had it with vegetables and it really is yummy (with leftovers for lunch).

But there are so many things you can make that are equally as good. Look through the recipes sticky, you'll see all kinds of exciting stuff in there. And the magazines also are chock full of inspiration and ideas. :)

Oh there are so many to chose from! I love egg, chips and mushy peas, jacket potato with bean chilli and salad with a HX of cheese, beef and ham casserole with roasted butternut squash, lentil and veg curry with rice..... diet????

Beany Sheperds Pie from green cookbook, so filling and lovely, and so simple to make,I use HEX b for cheese to put on the top.smells fab whilst cooking

Bacon & Pea Risotto :D

Chop up some bacon, cut off the fat then fry the bacon bits in fry light till they go crispy. Add a finely chopped onion towards the end - red onions are good for this.

Chuck the bacon and onion mix into a big pan, add 300g of arborio or carnaroli rice and pour in a litre of hot chicken stock (2 syns if you use 2 oxo cubes, no syns if you use Bovril, 3 syns if you use 2 of the new Knorr stock pot things). Stir well, put the lid on, put it on a very low heat and leave it alone for 20 minutes.

After 20 minutes stir it well, chuck in 100g of frozen peas, season with black pepper (you won't need any salt because of the bacon and the stock), and leave for 5 more minutes or until it reaches the consistency you like.

The only syns for the recipe are in the stock. If you're like me, you can put parmesan on top which is 1.5 syns per tablespoon. :D

This is utterly, utterly gorgeous and so easy. It's great for when you just can't be bothered. We use the new Knorr stock pot things, and they're much, much nicer than Oxo or Bovril.

I love Heinz Mean Beanz bbq flavour with chopped up sainsburys veggie burgers and a HEX of cheddar grated on top. It fills you up so much and the burgers are only half a syn each.
I also love loads and loads of steamed green veg with carrot and swede mashed together and mashed sweet potatoe, again really filling and warming in this weather

Chicken and Cheese Pesto with Spaghetti and Rocket.
(3 syns and one HEXA on Extra Easy)

Take a chicken breast and slice it through the middle (but not the edges) with a sharp knife to create a pocket. Add some cheese (HEXA) and then fold up the chicken breast so it looks like a breast again. Add on top of the breast one teaspoon of green pesto (1 syn).

Put in some tin foil and twist the edges so it looks like a cracker.

Bake at 200 for 20 mins and check that the juices are running clear.

Whilst it is baking, put some spaghetti on, cook it until it's right for you and add some more green pesto (1 syn per teaspoon, I usually use about 2).

Lay the chicken breast on top of the spaghetti and serve with rocket and cherry tomatoes.

Enjoy!

Homemade cheeseburgers with cinnamon
(Free on red or Extra Easy using 1 HEXA)

Fry some onions in Fry Light and when they are almost done add some mushrooms (sliced very small) and a teaspoon of cinnamon. Put to one side.

Take a handful of lean mince and add a beaten egg. Mix it all up and add your onion and mushroom mix. Make one very thin burger and put some grated cheese in the middle, avoiding the edges of the burger. Make another very thin burger and put on top - squeeze them together to make one burger.

Fry on both sides for a few minutes, until the middle is no longer red.

When you cut into it, you'll see the melted cheese running out - tis yummy.

Serve on a bed of mixed salad (particularly nice with beetroot) on a red day or SW chips on a green day. If you're really hungry - add a fried egg on top!

I had a bacon and mushroom omelette last night and WOW! Best thing I have eaten so far without there being Syns in it. Maybe that was just because i was hungry? lol. I enjoy the same things I did before to be honest but less fat and no sweets. Not had a meal i can complain about yet!
