Coffee?

I have been reading the recipe thread (drooling my way through it!) and loads of posters mention coffee with cream. Is milk allowed? Or just cream?

:D

Milk is too high in carbs so double cream is the best thing to use - not recommended that you have more than a tablespoon or two a day though x

Ahhhh thats cool. I have got quite used to black coffee being on lipotrim, so a couple of cups a day with cream will be a huge treat! Thanks :) :)

You're welcome. I love my coffee with cream - I have it if we go out for dinner and Keith's having a pud.

Thats a good idea...makes you feel you arent missing out :) :)

You could even have an irish coffee after induction so its especially special! :)

I like my coffee black anyway.

I thought I would handle black coffee, but never black tea, but something strange has happened to my body now, and I doubt I could stand milk in either. It might have come from reading that in every pint of milk there is pus and blood from the cow - sorry if you are scoffing!

heheheh nice! I used to drink pints of the stuff when I was younger, and my mum would always say 'you'll get gallstones' and low and behold I did :sigh::eek:

I wouldn't have drunk it by choice, but since doing the lipo I love it now! The other day I had one with milk in it, and it tasted vile, like the milk was off (although it wasn't) ;)

:jelous: EEEwwwwww
I dont mind black coffee with a slosh of cold water so to drink it straight away:D

Woofy X

pus and blood? never knew that one.

Thats exactly how it tastes when you get used to not having it - rancid. Without it you get the full flavour of the tea or coffee. I love de caff Earl Grey black.

I like my green tea :)

I remember reading once about milk being mostly mucus or something....blurrrrrrrgh! I still drank it though LOL

and it causes mucous, asthmatics and people with bad chests shouldn't drink Milk.
