Hi
My name is Sue i'm 48 yrs young and have battled with my weight since the birth of my first child 20 yrs ago. I am currently at my heaviest weighing just over 23 stone. I have tried every diet going and orilstat from my GP. I am now considering surgery but don't know where to start. I live in North Wales and can't find any information from my Local Health Board about funding. Can anyone please help i'm getting desperate:cry:

Hi Sue, I never had the op so I can't help there. I just wanted to say I know how you feel and welcome you to the board. There are loads of people here who will be able to help you though. Good luck.

Oh I will Sue, it took a long time and a lot of hard work to loose it, no way is it going back on, ever!!

Hi Sue,
I have just started on very low calorie diet 'all about W8'
have you heard of it?
before starting I decided to cut my calorie intake way back, this helped get the headaches over with. so from Mon - Wed low calories then I started the W8 programme yesterday. shake for breakfast, soup for lunch, chick noodles for tea, another shake for supper.
I have dropped 9lb already all of which im sure is fluid. this morning im in Ketosis and that should mean I will start to burn fat for energy.
check out others statisics on the W8 section here.

good luck
