Cambridge diet and depression

I have been on the diet for a month, this is my 2nd time.
I can cope with the hunger, but I am finding the emotional side of not eating ver hard.

I have come to realise that I emotionally eat, it makes me happy (short term anyway!)
Now that I have taken food away I am not coping without it very well. I know that perhaps I need to replace the habit - find something else to make me happy.

I wondered if you feek like this Does anybody have any advice? I know that I have to go through this and this is a process that will make me stronger - but it is awful!
any help/advice appreciated x

You're not on your own butterscotch. It's why I think this diet is the best for breaking the habit of emotional eating. It's all about cold turkey for me, and it's probbaly one of the hardest habits to break given that eating is of course so socially acceptable (unlike smoking/drug taking etc...). But I think it's every bit as powerful, given how many of the population are obese.
Do hang in there. Really talk to your CDC about it.
Take it easy, you're not on your own,
Cxx
