Family get together- need advice...

Team 1 all the way!
Hi all.
My dad is 70 on March 6th, and mum is organising a Birthday lunch - roast beef/turkey/pork - for him.
By then I will have been on SS for 9 weeks.
These are my options:
a. Add a meal for the week, and just have turkey and veg- try to resist the pudding!
b. Have a major blowout and get back on SS straight after.
c. Stick to SS and not eat at all...which I would prefer to do, but know dad will be upset as he is already worried about me doing this anyway.

What would you do?

I know it's ages away, but want to be prepared!

C C C I say, I ate on Saturday and feel terrible for it, I feel as if I let myself down and that is who you are doing this for YOU! good luck x

I say do a ss+ week and go back to ss after.
:)

I'd stick to cd ss during the week and do ss+ for the meal and just have meat and veg for the meal, if you can't resist the pudding try and have something fairly low cal/carb. Then the next day go back on ss.

From experience, it is really tough to get back on track if you have a blow out so I would say go for option A!

Thanks all- I think I will do option A. Bit of turkey, some veg and hope no-one notices me too much! My dad wouldn't be happy if I wasn't eating at all, so will be easier to just keep with SS for the week, and just have the one meal on that day.
Thanks! xxx

Because it is a very special occasion, you should add a meal, and eat your protein & veg....if you really can't resist desert, take along a bar with you so you can have something sweet along with the others....

Most of all, enjoy, and if you do fall off the wagon, its not the end of the world, just jump straight back on agan! :D

Hope you have a lovely time!
