Anyone got any suggestions for a good author like Dilly Court or Lesley Pearse?

Hiya
I tend to read books about life gone by but something with a bit of drama, romance, hardship/poverty.

My latest reads have been Dilly Court and Lesley Pearse - I've read all of both of their books.

Anyone reccomend any other authors along the same lines?

Meg Hutchinson, Charlotte Bingham, Jodi Picoult (hers are modern tho), Lyn Andrews, Harry Bowling...let me know if you want more or ideas of titles etc....
