Is Extra Easy really so easy?

Hi, I am new to the forum and to slimming world although only by a couple of months. I have so far lost 1 stone 9lbs in just 2 months which is great. But!!!! I am getting bored. I have been living on prawns, melon, strawberries, tuna & chicken. I did try the green diet but I only lost a pound that week. My syns consist of mayo for tuna, light thousand island for prawns, french fries and a penguin. And, it is so expensive!

Anyways, this week, I am on the extra easy plan. I am loving ham, mushroom, onion ommlette with a mound of syn free chips and tin of mushy peas. Plus, I am loving the new vanilla and dark chocolate sprinkle yoghurts of which I am having about four a day. I really do hope they are free. I am eating a load of super speed food as well. Does anyone know if the mushy peas and tins of beans are still super speed even if on the extra easy plan? Has anyone had any big losses?

I am loving reading all your stories and posts, it keeps me motivated, can you please list what you are eating to lose those big losses?

Ruth xx

Ive been on EE for nearly 3 weeks, lost 3.5lbs first week and 4lbs second week. You can eat pretty much what you want but I would be careful with portion sizes. EE suits me as i dont need to think to much about what the next meal will be. Ive never done red/green days so cant really compare it. But if it works for you go for it!! Try it for a week and if your weight loss slows im sure your SW consultant could help you tweak your food diary. Good luck with it

Thanks for the reply, I thought that portion sizes don't matter on this diet and that we can eat as much as we like? Plus, the more super speed we eat the faster it comes off?

Hi my friends have done ee for 3 weeks and he lost 12lb she lost 8lb. They like big meals so I know they won't hold back on portions. I'm biting the bullet and have had a change from red/green/extra easy day by day to a full week of ee and weigh in tonight, have stuck to it 100%....will let you know how I get on!

Hi, you sound like you're doing great. But I'd still take care with portion sizes - I do at least. On the plan we can indeed eat as much as we need as often as we need but this mustn't be confused with eating as much as we want when we want, as this would equal over eating.

I really should try and incorporate more super speed foods into my diet...

great weight losses. just thought i would say that i have spoken to a consultant about those sprinkly mullers and she said that they were not free!! so you might want to double check that!!

Having just checked Syns Online, both the vanilla with sprinkles and the orange with sprinkles are free, it's just the one with the black cherry underlay which isn't - that one is 2 syns on all the plans.
