A question about CD

Hi all,

I have done the Cambridge diet in the past and have about 14
packs left.
After Christmas the weight seems to have piled on and I'm wondering whether to finish these packs off and shed some weight. The dilemma is I have about 14 packs which is really not enough for a full week and I can't afford to purchase anymore. I was thinking of havin two packs a day with some protein in the evening. What do you think? Also I wondered if I did lose the weight in the space of a week is it possible to maintain the weight lost without the packs and how would I do this?

Thanks in advance xxx

In theory you could have two shakes and a reasonable meal in the evening and have about 1000 calories a day for a week so you shifted a decent amount in that week.

But you would then need to watch the calories after that or risk just putting it back on. It might be the boost you need to get started but then you could just follow a calorie controlled diet after that.

Otherwise Weight Watchers or Slimming World depending how you feel. Counting calories at home is the cheapest way to do it. Depending on how much you have to loose 1500 is normally a reasonable daily limit.

Hiya, thanks for replying. I wanted to lose abt a stone in two weeks is this possible?
also will normal eating not put weight on me after being on the cambridge?

Check you yellow Weight Care with Cambridge booklet and follow the 1000 cal plan you have 2 shakes and a breakfast, lunch and dinner from the selected foods.

It would be unwise to have just 2 packs and a meal as you cannot guarantee the third of your daily nutrition will be in just the one meal.

Follow this plan and you should lose weight successfully.

Thanks would this help me to shed about a stone in a couple of weeks?
