Hi has anyone been asked to submit their story by their counsellor. I have and must say i'm tempted just for the experience but do you think they get inundated? What are the chances of getting picked. has anyone on here any experience or even done one?

They ask everyone i believe and then publish the best and most inspirational, i know my friend was asked, go for it

I think they give the oppurtunity to everyone (hence it being in the back of our books) but not everyone one is asked to do it.

We don't have to do we!

Go for it. It must be amazing to have a full make-over for the photos and be the centre of attention for a day. Imagine having the story to keep for posterity alongside the memories of the day.

I've been asked and my LLC gave me a form but I haven't decided yet. She reckons there's a good chance as they don't get many blokes.

4-5 guys from my group did a photoshoot before Christmas & I think they are in the next magazine.

Seemed to enjoy it, had a day out Karting.

How will we know your issue - give us a clue.
A friend from our LL group was in RED magazine in November issue. They did mention LL, but not much and only did an
AFTER pic. I think before and after are more effective.

Not sure on details yet but they do pay expenses and you get hair and makeup done. Dont get to keep the clothes though! Not sure if Ive done the right thing? Just keep imagining myself looking awful in a mag! Ive lost over seven stone in total and do look better but far far from perfect! hope they have plenty of airbrushing sorted. Keep telling myself they wouldnt publish it if I looked awful as it would reflect back on their diet.
