Ok, so I know Ive only followed the plan 24 hours, but i've stuck to it to the letter, and walked miles today, and my scales say i've gained half a pound. I'm gutted. I purposely weighed myself on my scales the moment I got back from class last night to see how different my scales weighed me at, and Ive just weighed in the same clothes. Thought It might have shown at least a half pound loss.
I know I'm asking a lot after just 24 hrs, but I think that might be the cambridge dieter in me.:sigh:

You won't lose weight in a day lol, not unless you ate and drank nothing for those 24 hours - you may as well have got on holding a bucket full of everything that's passed your lips since getting up. Don't panic yourself, you've had a good day and 6 more of those will lead to a fab loss at your WI. Got my fingers crossed for you hun x

Thanks hun, I know Im asking too much too soon, like I said, I was on the CD, so that's probably why. But at least with SW I can enjoy the SW chips, quorn sausages and mushrooms I have cooking.:D

Stay away from the scales... it does your head in weighing like that. Hide them in a closet and just concentrate 100% on your new healthy eating plan. If you do that, then you will be happy when you step on the scales next week. Life's too short to worry about how much you weigh from minute to minute!

as a fellow ex cambridge dieter, i'd say you have done well!
we are supposed to gain approx 2 and half lbs through the course of the day, so only showing a half lb gain looks really promising!!!
BUT, stay off the scales hun!!!!! lol

This is true about a gain during the day. STAY AWAY FROM THE SCALES!!!
I used to do CD to and yes the results are quick also, if you have come straight from CD to SW, you may see a slight gain in the first week as your body adjusts to having food again...dont worry though this will shift the following week! I gained 3lbs in my first week coming from this and it is natural...however stick on track and it will come off (just not as fast, but far more healthy for you!)

Hi hun, i know you are wanting to see instant results but trust me be patient, the plan works and it works well, you may have a gain the first week due to your body adjusting to eating proper food again, but you will lose the 2nd week. Then again you may not have a gain, you may lose . whatever you do though don't weigh yourself every day as your body changes all the time. I have had to train myself not to weigh myself. My weigh in day is wed, but normally i have a wee check on a sat morning, but that is it. Just go with the flow and trust the plan and you will see the results xx

Ive been off CD for a few months now (with a bit of a gain) so hopefully my body will have adjusted. I know Rome wasnt built in a day....I just WISH it was, lol.

Don't be dissapointed,it's still early days and by your proper weigh in i bet you will see a loss.Im the same, bit obsessed with the scales, lost 4lb in my first week and am on my second wk now and got on the scales this am(not supposed to be weighing in till monday) and shows that i've put a pound on!! So i felt a bit dissapointed this am but not goin to let it spoil my hard work.Chin up !!
