Hi newbie here

Just wanted to introduce myself, I am Becky and am hoping to start the lighterlife program very soon.
My reason for wanting to lose the weight is to be able to emigrate to New Zealand with my wonderful husband who is currently serving in the RAF but is (hopefully) transferring to the New Zealand Air force next year when his time is served here in Britain. I am currently over the acceptable BMI for the medicals for immigration and at 5'3 and weighing over 15 stone i'm in desperate need of some friends on my journey, being a service wife on a new camp surrounded by 20something hotties can be a little depressing at times! ha ha so I hope to get to know you all soon :)

Hi Becky and welcome to minimins, I know how you feel about service life, I was a 22 year army man.

You'll find lots of help on this forum, and there is a LL forum.

Thanks Jim, I am re-thinking my plan and maybe going for the Cambridge diet..it seems a significantly cheaper option! maybe someone can tell me if this is as good as LL and how fast the weight loss would be, I have lost 8pound since Saturday on a juice diet with a calorie controlled evening meal and have found it pretty easy to manage (apart from constantly cleaning the juicer!)haha.

I'd go to the CD Forum and post your question there Becky.

Excellent Becky, I'm sure some one will come rushing to help you.

hi becky!! :) welcome and goodluck!!! ;)

Colleen, my wife, is quite slim, but when we were stationed in Hong Kong she felt fat compared to all the skinny Chinese girls. :)
