Hello everyone. I'm Lorna, I'm 27 and live with my hubby and our 1 year old son.
I'm starting the Slimfast diet tomorrow as I'm sick of everything wobbling! All my clothes are getting very tight, and my tummy is sticking out over my jeans - YUK!
I think this will be really hard for me, as I love my food, and pick at things all day, but I'm determined to do it :)

hi lorna, welcome! i've been using slimfast for the last 2 weeks and am finding it liveable, drink plenty of water and try and stick to the plan x

Hi thanks for the welcome. Do you do the shakes for breakfast and lunch, or have you been having the bars / soups too?
How much weight have you lost in the 2 weeks?

Hope you find the forum as useful as I am, welcome and good luck xx

Hi Lorna, I quite understand that wobbly feeling! welcome and good luck.

hi, i have the powder shake for breakfast and lunch with a pear and an orange for my 2 snacks and then i use all the 600 cals for a large dinner having my 3rd snack as pudding which is a blue riband bar for 99 calories.

so far i have lost 12 lbs with loads more to go:(

i think you have to decide what works best for you as i have read a lot of people have the sf snack bars or find something else for the same calories. Good luck and let me know how you get on xx

sparkelwings, well done on the 12lbs!! that's a great loss :).

I have been doing SF for the last week - almost at the bottom of my last tin, am only doing it till I see my cambridge diet counsellor but am surprised how much better the shakes taste than about 8 years ago when I last had one! ;)
I have been adding the ice-cubes to the shakes and they are much nicer ice-cold. :) Bit like McD's.. which I love! :p

I have only been having the shakes for breakfast and lunch, lots of water, and no snakes apart from a few grapes on the first few days. :) A meal of around 600 calories including lots of veggies as I'm a veggie. ;) And last night was my first pudding which I kept low as had a lower calorie dinner. I had pears (fresh) cubed with a 90 calorie fat free yoghurt.

good luck with SF I'm sure you'll see results. I'll try and remember to pop back to let you know how much I have lost on Thursday :)
