SS+ - Meal Ideas

Mia

Skinny girl in a fat body
Well I fell totally off the wagon at the weekend. Had everything I have been craving for the last 2 weeks (and enjoyed every mouthful :break_diet:). So, to make those of you who feel guilty becasue they ate a tiny bit of sunday dinner, or had a sip of wine, here is what I ate over the weekend.

Fish and chips
Big slice of Lemon Roullade
Half a tub of chocolate ice cream
Can of cider
6 weight watchers biscuits
2 onion bhaji's with salad and sauce
Chicken Dupiatza
Boiled Rice
Garlic Naan
3 glasses of red wine

OMG, I am so embarrassed seeing it written down :wave_cry:. Anyway, I am back ON the waggon today. I am going to still try to stick to SS but was wondering if there was anything I could have to eat IN CASE I felt I needed to eg. some prawns, or a bit chicken breast??? Don't really want to do SS+ but just wanted to have some SS+ meal ideas if possible.

I hope you all feel better now, after looking at what I ate/drank:8855:

My oh my!....when you fall off the wagon, you fall hard dont you! :D

As long as you enjoyed it, and your focussed on getting back on the wagon, then its not the end of the world is it?

Good luck with the re-start!

Edit - in addition, there are a lot of ideas in the 790 sticky thread...

Thanks, I have been looking at that but I want to know, can the 200 calorie meal be anything, or does it have to be the green and white food you would usually have on you AAM week? When I say anything, I mean food that will not knock you out of ketosis, like fish and chicken and veg?

I think you could probably eat other things, like steak and other things you might eat on Atkins, the only thing to watch out for there is the increase in calories.....:(

Im going away for a weekend and intend to follow the Atkins approach so I can still eat (and not just fish and chicken) but I'll just make sure its all low carb...

Big hugs Mia. Maybe this will chase away the binge demons for you, but if not, then try SS+ - those who do it find the weight loss is just as good as with SS and it might be more realistic if you are battling to get your head in the right zone. SS is really a food-free diet and any picking just lifts the lid on my own overeating impulses, so maybe you are the same & would be safer with one of the steps where food is allowed? It can't be good for your confidence to feel bad at 'failing' each time you fall off the wagon. There has to be another way! Wishing you luck for today.

Thanks so much ladies, like I say, I am going to try my hardest to stick to SS (I have done it before and I CAN DO IT AGAIN). I just wanted to know if there was anything I could eat if I needed to if you get my drift. I have been ok today, had 2 ltrs. of water and a shake, but I can feel the headache starting and the empty feeling in my stomach. Danger time is 6 - 7 when I want to eat anything in sight so I am dreading getting home. I am alone most of the time, got a 17 year old who thinks she lives in a hotel :) so it is more dangerous when you are alone with food in the house. Good luck to everyone x
